I have been going to Visible’s Changes for years and this is the first time I’ve been extremely disappointed! I came in for a hair color with a colorist named Jackie she seemed like she did not want to be there. After 4 hours she gave me a towel and said ok you’re done. My hair was dripping wet. I then asked her if I was going to get my hair blow dried so I could see the color better because wet didn’t look like much color at all. She said no that I would have to set an appointment up to get my hair blow dried. I couldn’t believe it! I spent $270 on some highlights and I can’t even walk out of the salon with my hair dried??? It was so unprofessional I felt like I was walking out of those cheap salons that charge $10 a haircut. I am so disappointed I will never go to this salon again. If anything I would have appreciated the notice when I sat down that I would have to get an appointment to get the full experience of getting my hair colored.

I’ve been going to this location since I was a kid. The customer service nowadays is absolutely terrible. Very disappointed in how I was treated on the phone when trying to make an appointment. Need to go over phone etiquette again with everyone that works at the desk.

After some thought, I decided it was best to write a review so that no one has to go through what I went through. I came in for a consultation for a perm & Cameron was the one who came and sat next to me. Not a hello or hi nor a smile, just an instant off vibe. The first thing she asks is what am I here for & that’s where I figured it wasn’t going to be a fun conversation. AS I’m asking questions, she is answering rudely & sounds very unenthusiastic. Everything that I was saying, she contradicts me & is just very negative. She even assumes that I can’t afford the treatment… and I don’t say a word but just am wanting to get up and leave. The whole conversation was so dreadful. I don’t know if she was having a bad day or simply is just a mean girl. I think visible changes should enforce customer service training because it seems like that is what is missing. When the consultation was over, I had my mind made up that I did not want to get my perm done here anymore. I did make an appointment but cancelled it because I just couldn’t forget the interaction. The interaction that I had with Cameron ruined my excitement for a perm. It was truly a wrecked experience and I hope she learns customer service & kindness. I don’t think I’ll come here again. I’m disappointed, because I love visible changes. But I won’t support a hostile environment. Visible changes, please do better and teach your hairstylists how to be professional.

We live in Porter go to the mall all the time, my Daughter sometimes gets her hair done here, last Friday May 31st, I was waiting for my wife to get her hair finished and got up to use the restroom around 340pm, and witnessed what looked like a manager grabbing a younger employee by the arm. At first I thought they were joking around, but then I noticed the younger girl appeared to be frightened and upset. I was completely embarrassed for her, and at the time didn't know what to do. Is there someone I can speak with that isn't a manager of Visible Changes? There were many security cameras in the store and something tells me this is not the first time it has happened.

First time coming by here today and probably the last time. I came in for color and highlights and was basically told she could only darken my hair. After about 10 minutes of going back and forth I realized what the lady telling me she was capable of doing, I can do at home by myself for a fraction of the cost.

Always get the best hair cuts and styling with Debbie! They run on time for appointments, and they have a great selection of name brand hair care products and store brands.

You will always receive a good haircut at any Visible Changes location, the kicker is that that kind of certainty comes at a cost. Services here are a bit pricey but, as mentioned, that's because the results warrant the cost. Unfortunately my stylist recently left so I am on the hunt for a new regular. The girl that cut my hair most recently was obviously not as experienced as the girl that usually did it and I was not as happy with the end result. Not for lack of effort on her part, she was great. She asked me if I wanted anything changed quite a few times, made adjustments where I wanted them... I just don't think we got all the way on the same page and I was there for longer than usual. Also the style she put into my hair didn't come out well. Which was all a little surprising to me considering she was a Sr. Stylist. Even though that was not a good fit I'll definitely be back, perfect fit or not Visible Changes always delivers good results. The search continues for my new best fit.

Nope. Won't be back. I've been here before and never had an issue. I took my daughter recently, who is a child. They have a list of prices for each level of stylist. I chose one that should've been $28.
When I got to check-out, they told me $45. I ask why, and the girl at the front desk said, "Oh I don't know." and just stared at me. I asked her why the price list said $28 and she again told me she didn't know. I asked her to find out, and this girl said she needed to call the stylist, who was about 15 feet away, then said, "Oh I don't know her number" then stared at me. I had to ask her to go find out, and she acted annoyed, then came back and said it's because my daughter has curly hair and that's the final price.
I was charged almost $20 extra FOR A TRIM because of my daughter's hair texture, which is the most appalling thing I've ever had to deal with from a hair salon.
The worst part was how CLUELESS the girl at the front desk was. She was rude and just showed no interest in her job whatsoever. She just did not care and didn't seem to know, or want to know, anything, like she's annoyed to even have to be there.
The fact that I was charged for my daughter's hair texture, rather than the fact that she's a child as listed on their website and in-store was gross and reeked of low-key racism.
I will absolutely not ever come here again and have told everyone I know not to bother with this place.

As someone who has been coloring my hair for about 50 years, I have experienced "good, bad, and just okay" services. Today, was a WONDERFUL experience with spot-on color by BRIDGET and then BEST hair cut I've had in a very long time by RACHEL. So we all know Visible Changes charges different tiers of service, and yes RACHEL is promoted as one of their higher-priced more experienced stylist. All I can say, she is WORTH IT. And BRIDGET is one of the top tier too ($$$$) but absolutely worth getting my hair looking this good! This was a 5 star experience!
