Fantastic small bookstore. As a romance/romcom reader, I adored the huge selection. The owner was really friendly and was incredibly knowledgeable. She gave many recommendations that I’m so excited to read + some to gift. Glad I drove up from Houston to experience this great book shop. I can’t wait to come back!

I love this book store! The curated selection of books celebrates diverse voices and perspectives, creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. The owner's passion for literature shines through, making each visit a delightful exploration. She is warm and inviting, combined with having an empowering collection, makes this bookstore a five-star gem that I definitely recommend.

We visited a month ago and the store is charming with various categories of books by African American authors. The owner has created a vibrant but cozy book boutique. Even if you are not an avid reader you are destined to find something of interest.

The Book Reader Venue is a warm quiet even romantic place. It is filled with differing genres and a little something for everyone. From the old to the young children love to drop in because the founder, Sherrele Goloversic, is there to impart what she knows about the local artists, the established and the new. She is all about bringing books back to the forefront. Go see for yourself.❤️

Stopped by The Book Readers Venue over the weekend and I felt right at home. A cozy, quaint, black owned bookstore located in the heart of Humble. They offer a variety of genres by some of your favorite Authors. My daughter loved the kids corner and the comfy rug. Be sure to stop by and support.

The Book Readers Venue is full of various independent authors of color. It is challenging to find these author in the big, well-known bookstores. It is refreshing to have the opportunity to have a store to go to that offers books for purchase by some of my favorite authors: Iris Bowling, Alexander House and Christina C. Jones. The store has a very comfy & inviting setting. I really liked visiting there.
