Called today for an emergency grooming session due to my Toy Poodle eating his fur. He needed to be shaved down. They weren't able to groom my dog due to my dog's behavior but the staff was very professional and patient. They were trying their best to make it possible for my dog to get groomed but my dog wasn't cooperating. I highly recommend this place still.

Richelle is fabulous!!! I brought my long haired
cat in for a nail trim and to remove a couple of mats. She brushed her out. Found a couple of mats I didn't know about and removed those too. She is so good, patient, and caring. Thank you for all you do for my kitty

She is such a great groomer! She goes beyond just taking a shaver to the dog and giving him a buzz cut. Really pleased with cuts and my dog seems to be calmer not traumited by the visit. Very homey comfortable feel to her shop. A little pricey compared to some retail shops but well worth it.

I will not be returning to Golden Paws after today. I brought my 3 dogs in for their usual haircut but when I came back for pick up I was scrutinized with accusations on not walking my dog and giving them proper medication prior to grooming visit. As a veterinary technician and someone that has been in the veterinary field for quite sometime I do not take these accusations lightly. I know I walked my dogs and gave them the proper medication prior to grooming visit and to be called a liar is something I will not tolerate. I know the dangers on not giving proper medication and I would not have given my dog to you if I hadn’t. I hope this review gives other owners with anxious pets some insight.

Such a great experience. It is hard to find a groomer who will work with cats. I am amazed at how well my kitty was groomed, especially since she is a little squirmy and flexible. ?

Found out the Eastex Vet/Grooming and boarding is closing for good. At the same time I came across Golden Paws, so I brought our Miniature Schnauzer here for the first time today to get groomed. The owner Rachelle is very professional and nice, not to mention she did a wonderful job on my Mini Schnauzer. Little to say, we will be coming back to Golden Paws from now on. Thank you Rachelle.!

My sister, sister in law, and uncle bring their dogs here! Rochelle is very nice and always makes sure that our babies are in good hands! She knows what she's doing and she works with you if there's any special requests or needs. Our dogs even look forward going to her and don't get super anxious. We don't trust anyone else to get our babies looking right.
