Terrible customer service. Didn’t care to help kept saying “well this is how we’re trained”. Went to do a refund and somehow I was suppose to be given back less then what I paid and he couldn’t explain why. Just kept saying we’ll call customer service cause I can’t help you. Trash!!!

They will sell you used games as brand new for full price. My daughter made a mistake by choosing the wrong game and now they won’t take it back because the horrible women as a employee that was there today 06/20/23 said that it was brand new when I saw the other employee the day before put it in a random black box bc he said they didn’t had the original box bc people steal them all the time and she had the nerve to tell me it’s new and won’t take it as a return or exchange when the receipt says if your not satisfied with your purchase you can take it back. I hope they finish closing all the stores not worth having them around.

Welp! That’s the last time I’ll go by Gamestop… came by this evening to purchase a game for my 4 year old’s birthday. The guy running the store seemed a bit edgy when dealing with the customer in front of us in line. When we handed him the game card to purchase, he started literally talking smack about us using a game card instead of the physical copy. Then, after letting him go through the script of why I should renew my membership, I politely declined. He then proceeded to start cursing under his breath and walked to the other side of the counter. After a few seconds of this, he told me go ahead and pay. Then, after reluctantly handing me the receipt and highlighting the code on it. He immediately went to the back of the store and started punching stuff like crazy back there freaking everyone including my birthday boy out. Also, he never stopped cursing and talking crazy under his breath during the whole transaction. Us and another family immediately, took off out of the store and more than likely will never return again, honestly. Sticking to buying my games in the online marketplace…

Normally I don't make time for reviews unless I feel like the service was so poor and it's important to inform management or owner, the service I received was not FAIR! I went in to simply purchase a PS5 controller and the guy at the counter Christian asked me if I was a member and if not I can sign up for a one-time fee of like $15 in which I replied I just don't shop here enough to benefit from it so at the moment I was treated different he ignored me basically placed my bag on the counter shoved my receipt did not thank me for my purchase although I thanked him and this all because I declined the membership so I am guessing the employees must receive some sort of additional compensation when they sell these plans which is why he treated me like nobody after!CUSTOMER SERVICE AT IT'S WORSE!

Never ever going back to this game stop really poorly management the manager sold a $50 game and said that has warranty and didn’t explain anything how it works and Calle like three days later and explain to him that I have this problem with game it has a glitch and I said to manager can I get the new game I have a the warranty for it, he said “I can’t give you a new game what I can do give you the same game but used idk who sold you the game but they should have explain that to you” I told him on the phone it was you the manager that sold me the game. i highly recommend to the public not to go there just taking advantage of people!!

They don't have as much in stock as they used to. Gamestop is starting to feel more and more like a pick up location for an online store. Any time we need something, it's never in stock, but they're willing to order it. (No thanks, Amazon is cheaper and delivers it quicker)

Would love to leave a better review. Customer service is good, but would not recommend buying gift cards for the Xbox. The codes on two cards we purchased were not readable and hidden under the voided black area.
