Came back to this fitness connection they let themselves go down. Dumbbells everywhere an to get ropes an bars equipment you have to give them your ID. It’s so inconvenient I know theft’s make it bad, but everyone shouldn’t have to suffer.

Great place, a variety of workout machines to choose from, the workers is always nice and greet you coming in and leaving. I love their operational hours, it makes so easy and convenient to fit into my daily schedule

Today was not a good day. I woke up to a random $53.04 charge on my account from Fitness Connection. Thinking it was a mistake. I called customer service and spoke with a representative name Jessica. She was rude and even laughed at me when I became upset due to her saying they were not removing the charge because I "signed a contract" When I signed up to Fitness Connection. I came in on a $1 special. No one discussed the logistics of the agreement. I thought I could cancel at any time and that it was a more flexible gym. No, they have you on a one year contract that if you want to cancel they charge you a $50 buy out fee. On top of the unauthorized charge. They had me sign a one year agreement without me knowing, to add my son to my account for $10 a month and did not tell me that they would also charge a $53.04 annual fee randomly. When I signed he said this is just to add your son to your account. They said I signed the contract. I signed to add my son to my account for $10 a month. When he came in he only wanted to tour the gym, to see if he wanted to commit. Instead we were met by a guy who said no, he had to have a one day paid pass or they had a special for adding him to my account for only $10 a month. I agreed only because he would not allow him to tour without it. My son hasn't been back since. The management at the location was nice, but still no one gave me my money back. It was cancel for $50 or pause my account, but no resolution. The rude customer service rep named Jessica, waiting on the line for 45 minutes to speak with someone (which I snapshot how long I waited) only to be treated badly. It's a NO for me. This is a gym. I need flexibility, good service and no contract that will hold me hostage to anything. I want to workout at my leisure and not be treated unfairly while doing that. The transaction was fraudulent, due to nondisclosure of everything that this gym is doing just to sign up people, lock them in (un-knowlingly) and make them pay a price when they discover the hidden fees and charges. I do not recommend this place. They will not refund you fyi and the customer service is un-professional. Join at your own risk. I'll be going somewhere else and committing where it is more flexible and better service.

So I decided to try this location around the corner from my brokerage FYI REALTY because I had a meeting right after, and I love this location, it was very clean, tons of equipment, and it was very fancy inside. I’ll be going back.

I’m thrilled to say that the facility not only meets my workout needs but also exceeds my expectations. It’s an inviting and motivating space that truly enhances my fitness experience.

Visited the Humble TX location today. Very disappointed in the Fitness Connection policies. Apparently if you have an out of state drivers license your not welcome to get the 5 day free pass. This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. We are new to TX but we considering joining but after this experience, I’ve totally changed my mind.

Look, I'm going to say what nobody likes to say. But without being morbidly racist, the Hispanic crowd are the WORST gym hogs. Again, I am not meaning this in a racist or hateful way, THIS IS FACT THAT HAS BEEN OBSERVED OVER THE COURSE OF TIME. I have been going to this gym for a year or so now and it's always been an issue, and today was no different. I came to do some deadlifts and shoulders, and I arrive at 8:00am. One of the two racks is taken by a group of 4-5 Hispanic ladies who were there for the entire 1.5hrs I was here just talking and maybe one of them does a set every 5 minutes or so. The rack next to them was taken by a Hispanic brother who spent most of his time across the gym doing other stuff while his bag was sitting on the rack. I walked up to his rack because I hadn't seen him after 5 or so minutes, maybe he just forgot his bag? No, he ran over and jumped on me for taking his rack, and proceeded to not use it for another 15 minutes. No problem, I told him I was next in line. After I did all my shoulder workouts I came over and waited in the area, when he finally finished up he waited until my back was turned and gave it to the ladies on the next rack over previously mentioned. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME! Every man who is worth his salt is my brother, but I am the minority here in Humble, and they love to shove that in your face. Gym is nice, but if you get here any time after 8:00 AM don't expect to see any weights where they should be. I'm thinking about moving to a different gym. It's sad, but people are jerks no matter how cordial you are.

I cancelled my membership 8/16/23! I then get a charge for the annual fee on 9/15/23 then another fee on 9/16/23!!! I called and was told about a 30 day cancellation policy and I have only been to this gym literally 2 times in 2 years! I’m sick of fitness connection and then on top of that the rep has the nerve to send me a copy of the agreement like who in the hell reads through all of that “fine print” but okay representative!!! This info should have been reiterated at the time of the call when I first cancelled! It’s okay though I’ll be sure to post my review on any platform I can! So better fitness connection I will NEVER use y’all again!

Great place to workout. Convenient location and hours. Lots of cardio equipment so there's never a wait. Also plenty of machines for strength training. Since reopening after COVID, the free weights equipment is sometimes sparse. Sometimes kettlebells are missing and unavailable. Group-X classes are good and I love to have a relaxing warm coolddown in the sauna.

I'm enjoying the gym. But heads up, you are going to get a big bill two months into your subscription. It's their annual membership fee, but they don't tell you when you sign up. It's all good, though, because I would rather work out inside! It's clean and not overly crowded.

DON’T GET ANY MEMBERSHIP WITH THIS PEOPLE. The worst gym Before COVID I had a membership and it took me almost a year to cancel the membership because it is almost impossible to cancel, I paid more than a year without going and they did nothing. I'll give you another chance this time I don't make a contract, I'll stay in month by month. Maybe I stopped going, I called more than a month in advance, they said I had to put 30 days notice. They kept charging me for two more months. They are disgusting, they are the worst they steal from people. His gym is horrible, the experience is horrible. DON'T SUBSCRIBE

My first month here and my last. I was not sure when my monthly fee would be charged, so I missed it. I deposited money 30 minutes after they tried taking money, but FC didn't take te $$$. My wife was denied access and was told no children under 3 were allowed. We had been going for a month and never told us anything about it. I am a disabled vet, so I can't drive myself sometimes. The daycare allowed us to go together. But I will be canceling and contacting corporate. They were sure kind and loving when we were signing up.

0 stars ... I got to the gym around 9:33 for a quick sauna session and the doors were locked already and when the short Mexican male with the curly hair came to the door he had an attitude and said "you know we about to close right" and I said " yeah I come here everyday but, that doesn't give you guys the right to lock the door early." He then asked why I had an attitude and I explained that he was basically making it seem like it was too late for me to be coming in. I then told him I Pay my membership here I can come anytime before close he then told me I needed to leave. I was walking to the sauna and said I wasn't leaving just because he was having a power trip. 20 minutes into the sauna a lady cop comes and I get out the sauna to talk to her and she's like let's go and as I try to grab my back pack she throws me against the wall and tries to hand cuff me and threatens to shoot me with the taser. Mind you I'm handicapped from chronic sciatica. So she hand cuffs me and is throwing me around while we walk out the gym. People were recording all of this in the men's locker room. Turns out the kid at the front lied to the cops and told the cops I threatened to shoot the gym. With all the mass shooting going on no one should be able to get away with lying like that to get someone kicked out. He told me he was going to say something to get me kicked out but I didn't know he was going to lie like that. Unbelievable I could've been shot and killed by police for a lie like that he should be arrested! it is illegal to make false accusations against another party in Texas and I will be filing a defamation lawsuit against the responsible party.
