Took car in to have them run an AC diagnostic as it was not blowing cold air. I told them that I had added a little bit of refrigerant with some stop leak in it (roughly 4 oz) and when checked again the pressure was low, so I suspected a leak. After 6 hours I called them because I hadn't heard back, and then they sent over an estimate to replace the entire system (4600$). I guess their machines couldn't evacuate the system because the refrigerant I added "could've damaged our 10,000$ machine". I just wish they would have told me that when I dropped it off instead of wasting my time. I would not want them to damage their equipment, but if they were that worried about the machine, then surely this isn't the first time someone has brought in a car that had stop leak added to it, and they could have asked before I even took it up there. Also, if they couldn't evacuate it for the diagnostic, Im not sure how they would to replace the entire system.. I'm no expert by any means but didn't make sense to me. Anyways, took it somewhere else and replaced the evaporator coil, saved a little over 3000$. Working great now. Glad I didn't fall for that.

The car experienced new problem after the storm and needed to be taken to a repair shop. Emily, Shawn, and Mr. Robert at the facility were extremely professional and provided excellent customer service. They were able to identify the issue after a thorough diagnostic based on the information provided. Mr. Shawn kept me updated on the progress and took the time to explain the problem and the reasonable solution. The overall service and customer care were exceptional. I will definitely return in the future.

Employees do not make you feel like you are a wanted customer! I came in to get an alignment and been here over an hour and my appointment was at 10 am it not 10:43 and still have not worked on my truck ! Now they are saying there is more wrong with it!!! Imagine that!!!!

I am such a lucky guy, I visit them for the first time on their 35th anniversary, young age like the spirit of those who work there but also mature age like the quality of the service they offer. The treatment and information they offered me about the Alignment service was very professional and sophisticated, in accordance with the technology they have. From the first phone call, the service and the final closing with my payment to the service received, I was always confident thanks to the atmosphere that was felt from the moment I arrived. I definitely suggest that you have their services as your primary option because I will do it that way, it was my first time and, I assure you, it will not be the last. Happy 35th anniversary.

Perhaps other customers have been given more friendly, enthusiastic service. Compared to many other mechanics I've worked with in the Houston area, Beckwith's Car Care was more insensitive, and gave the vibe that I was not a preferred customer. As a Speech Communication Instructor, I am familiar with a welcoming, interpersonal atmosphere vs. one that is stiff, impersonal and seemingly insensitive. Overall, I don't feel comfortable with bringing any of my vehicles back to Beckwith's Car Care. Not to mention, that when I returned to the shop to pick up my car after hours, at night might I add...the doors were unlocked!!!!! In all of my 30+ years of having cars serviced, I have NEVER picked up a vehicle from a mechanic after hours and the doors were unlocked!!!!! This, to me sends a message of being thoughtless and careless.

Service was great. Pick up and drop off from the shop. The service was timely. My car was finished before the estimated time, and for less than the estimate. I will definitely return.

They were so kind, helped me change my flat to a spare tire, so I could make it to my destination safe. They did it free of charge and even gave me some yummy fresh baked cookies.

This is an excellent place to service your car. I usually had to take my car to das euros in spring cause they were the only reliable mechanic shop that worked on cars from Europe that I knew. Beckwith’s assured me they can do the same, serviced my car for a leaking fuel pump and the problem no longer exist. I no longer have to drive to another city that’s out of my way.

I’m new to Texas so I’m not familiar with many businesses. I had to get a new tire at Discount Tire and they suggested Beckwith’s for an alignment . The service was prompt and everyone I encountered was very pleasant. I will definitely be returning for all vehicle needs!Service: Tires

Beckwith's does not honor thier warranties. They say they have a 12 month 12,000 mile warranty on alignment. But if the alignment goes out for any reason other than the bolts falling out as you drive away they will not cover it. They told me verbally it would have to go out of alignment within a few weeks for it to be thier responsibility, but I brought mine in "almost 12 months later." If that's the case why claim a 12 month warranty.In a parking lot I bumped into a curb while pulling into a spot at about 3-5 miles per hour. I let them know this and said I think that's when it started pulling to one side. All 4 wheels where out of alignment. I assumed this would be under warranty as has been the case for every alignment I've ever had from every other company in my decades of car ownership.In reality the warranty on alignment is no warranty at all. I can only assume the rest of thier warranties are no better.I will not be returning.

I discovered Beckwith’s Car Care listening to the Auto Pros Radio Show on 700AM KSEV in Houston, TX. which Lynn Beckwith in one of the host. My organization was donated a 2005 32 Passenger Bus built on a GMC 5500 Chassis with Duramax Diesel engine. I wanted to base line the maintenance on the vehicle using BG Products, plus make ready for a 3500 mile trip. I called & Lynn answered the phone. I told her what I wanted done on the bus, & I was concerned that the physical size of the bus might not fit in their bay. Lynn said “go ahead & bring it over!” Lynn, & her staff performed a complete multipoint Inspection & all the services I wanted. Plus the technician discovered the water pump was leaking. I was provided a quote for the repair & approved it. Beckwith’s provides Excellent service, Honest, Fair Price, & Delivered on Promised Completion Date. Beckwith’s gives all around Excellent Customer Service! I highly recommend them for all your vehicle maintenance & repairs. A customer for life!Services: Transmission
