Dear AutoZone Customer Service Team,
I hope this finds you well. I wanted to share feedback regarding a recent experience I had at your AutoZone store located at 10810 Homestead Rd, Houston, TX 77016 and subsequently at 3817 Atascocita Road, Humble, TX 77396.
This morning 4/11/2024, I visited the 10810 Homestead Rd location to inquire about a warranty battery replacement. Do to my car not starting this morning. The customer service at this store was exceptional, as the staff assisted me in locating another store 20 minutes way from my location (3817 Atascocita Rd location) that had the battery I needed in stock. They even called ahead to confirm its availability.
Upon arriving at the Atascocita store, I encountered a different experience. I spoke with a gentleman who identified himself as the store manager (wearing a gray shirt). I asked if he could assist in changing my battery. Unfortunately, he responded with an unprofessional attitude, stating that he didn't have to perform this service, despite it being advertised by AutoZone.
As someone who works in customer service myself, I was taken aback by this interaction. I've never encountered such reluctance or attitude when seeking assistance at an AutoZone store before. Given that I was the only customer present at the time, I was surprised by the response.
I believe it's important for AutoZone to uphold its reputation for excellent customer service, and instances like this can impact customer satisfaction and brand perception.
I wanted to bring this matter to your attention so that it can be addressed appropriately. I appreciate your time and consideration in looking into this issue.

30 spark plugs in system, sells me a box of 4 without checking that they all there. Good thing I checked, only 3 plugs in box and no more in the back.

I've been going there since they opened and have to say they're great! People should use their free services more, like diagnostics and battery checking and charging, starter testing, free loaner tools and, best, the expertise of the staff.They even had to show me where the battery was in my used AMG...A guy there owns one and helped.

I had an amazing expereince today at Auto Zone at Atascocita Rd. I needed to replace my battery plus my terminals were severly corroded. An AutoZoner, named Kenneth, came to my rescue. Not only did Kenneth replace my battery after suggesting the best battery to purchase but he also thoroughly cleaned my battery terminals. In addition, he also replaced one of my terminals and provided a means of preventing future corosion. Kenneth's advice, hard work, kindness, and patience truly saved the day. Thank you.

I will always choose AutoZone anytime I need to buy a part for my vehicles, but this particular location exceeded expectations due to one manager Adam, I hope I remembered his name correctly. He will know who he is after reading this review. My daughter's Bronco Sport would not start and we were told that it needed a new battery when they tested it. The associate helping us attempted to replace the battery but it was a job for the dealer, for sure! Ford set up the battery compartment in a way you had to take off the front cowling over the radiator, the air filter box and disconnect the air hose to be able to slide the battery out. Well the associate said he could not do that, and this was Wednesday, Thanksgiving ever. I spoke with manager Adam and explained our situation of being stranded since the dealer would be closed for the holidays. Adam, made an exception, rolled up his sleeves and took on this task himself, with me as his sidekick. We were able to replace the battery and able to get back to our Thanksgiving holiday prep, thank you Adam!
