I had a bit of a hassle with AutoZone recently. My car's serpentine belt broke, so I ordered a toolkit for same day delivery. An hour later, the driver called to let me know that AutoZone wouldn't give her the product without my ID. Since my car was out of commission, I thought delivery would be the easiest option, but the store manager, Ana, said I had to show up in person with my ID before she could release it to the driver…….
It feels like AutoZone's "same-day delivery" is a bit misleading. It seems more like a way to charge you upfront and then make you wait for a refund if things don’t go smoothly. Plus, it’s a bummer that the driver went out of her way to pick it up but won’t get paid for her trouble. In the end, it feels like both the customer and the driver ended up getting the short end of the stick.
Updating to say, Judy who helped me out the next day made the experience better. She was nice and explained everything while treating me fairly even after a harsh review. Things happen and I’m glad we could figure it out.

They don’t tell you when sales are final. The manager was upset because I was returning unused items. Her associate never said it wasn’t returnable. I wouldn’t have bought it. Then she said it says it on the receipt I read the back of the receipt to the manager Anna G. and she said it’s there I read the back out loud to her again. She still wouldn’t take the items I asked for corporate number. She said it’s on the window. I asked where she said it’s there. So GREAT MANAGEMENT! I took a photo to get her name. She said what you just did is illegal I have it on camera. I said ok call the cops. I only wanted your name. She followed me out the store took photos of my license plate. I said that’s ok. I only wanted your name. So I’ll be calling corporate.

They were extremely helpful and friendly. They other store on little York kept me waiting on hold for 10 minutes before I gave up. This store is the better store.

I was waiting in line Anna was helping a customer the cu6was very disrespectful I fill that she didn't have to talk to Anna like she sid anna was smiling and being nice to her then she ask Anna for her name Anna gave it to her the lady said I am going to talk to Karina I will have you fire you are rude

I went a couple of weeks ago and needed help with my car. I walked in and didn't see anyone who spoke Spanish. I went to the register and Mr. Dennis helped me. I was very grateful for him and the time he has taken to learn another language. Thank you for your help, Mr. Dennis, and for not giving up because of the language barrier.

I just came to this autozone where I'm going to buy a battery and they tell me they can't change the battery because they don't have a tool. What country do we live in? Please provide better customer service ??

Samir should a great example of what customer service should be. He walked me through the complicated task of choosing the rite product and even installing it for me in the rain. I give him a 10 out of 10 stars.

I initially visited the AutoZone store at 99 and Champion Forest to get my car battery checked as my car wouldn't start. The staff there tested the battery and informed me that it was still in good condition, even though it was under warranty. However, a few hours later, my car started emitting a rotten egg smell and smoke, with the battery leaking.Fortunately, I received exceptional assistance from Dennis Johnson at a different AutoZone at Aldine Bender in Humble. He quickly identified the issue with the battery and provided the necessary help to resolve the situation. I appreciate Dennis's expertise and quick action in addressing the problem that the first store had missed.Overall, while my experience at the first AutoZone store was very disappointing, the exceptional service provided by Dennis at the second store turned the situation around. Thank you, Dennis, for your prompt and effective help.
