To make a long story short, the store manager David said that I will get a full refund for my battery if my problem is the alternator. Turns out it was the problem. After 3 days of going back and forth to autozone, communicating to multiple associates and being told that they will not give refund and trying to give me store credit, I was given my refund and my old battery. It took me calling their District Manager Waulfield Kelley, explaining the situation to get my refund back. As a Store Manager myself, I understand the value of honoring your word. You cannot communicate to a customer that you will provide a refund and then decide to not honor it, because you realize in this situation, it goes against your company policy. I would imagine that this isn’t the first time David has made a promise and broken it. As the customer, I do not have to except that. It’s poor customer service. This experience from the store level shows me that their customers are not valuable to them. Honor your word. From the corporate level, Mr. Kelley worked swiftly to resolve my issue and for that I appreciate him. What he did and what the store is doing are not the same. A coaching conversation is needed and training on customer service is needed as well.

Joshua, our customer service rep is very knowledgeable and helpful whenever it came to find the parts for our vehicle. Patient and honestly should be the manager if he's not already and if he's not, he should be training all the managers in the area. No ?

I needed a diagnostic on my car. It was not only free, but the customer service provided by Heather was exemplary. She was friendly, accommodating and explained the printout information where I could understand.
