“In response to a previous review: Why is HEB NOT just another grocery store? Why is it worth it to fight the crowds or (just a thought) time your trip for slower hours like weekday mornings? Here is your answer!1. Fresh tortillas and tortilla chips made all day long in the store.2. Bread baked right there in the bakery and sliced to order - Not shipped in frozen and thawed out on the shelf like Walmart.3. The best selection of wines and cheeses outside of a specialty store.4. Clerks who are always friendly and ready to answer questions! This kind of customer service is a lost art form. Thanks HEB!5. I love how they put out signs when they are closed .Unlike other stores, yes it says they are open 24/7 but come on with one person in the store for overnight how is he supposed to take out trash or go to bathroom ? We feel so entitled as customers that most don’t realize he’s just a person and not some robot . But I understand it maybe that some of you don’t use your common sense or decency to understand or read the signs that are put out on the door , as you walk up. This corporate store is not gonna fail over your 20 dollars that it makes from a few customers. The morning and 2nd shift make plenty of money to keep the business running lol . If you been in there you would see how busy it is .”
