“I jut shopped HEB on 12/23/25. These folks do it right. The store was packed with shoppers at 11:00 a.m. when I got there. They had carts available. The store shelves were well stocked, even the sale items that people get; spiral sliced ham, brisket, poultry. The baked goods were packed with take home desserts. Without exception, every employee I met was polite. And EVERY checkout lane was manned. I had an employee in the parking lot ask if I needed help loading my car. Great job HEB.”

“We don't go in the store very often, so this review mainly pertains to the pharmacy. Excellent quality service and staff... Always friendly and helpful. On this particular instance, we were on the way home from the ER and had a paper prescription for an antibiotic we need filled promptly. The woman who helped us, Michele, and her pharmacist, were both extremely courteous, friendly, and helpful. They insisted that we wait, and they filled it for us immediately! Within about 7 or 8 minutes, we had our antibiotic in hand, ready to go. I am so thankful that there are good people still out there in this world who love their job and love helping others. It is situations like this that restore my faith in humanity!”

“Great store. I love how they put out signs when they are closed .Unlike other stores, yes it says they are open 24/7 but come on with one person in the store for overnight how is he supposed to take out trash or go to bathroom ? We feel so entitled as customers that most don’t realize he’s just a person and not some robot . But I understand it maybe that some of you don’t use your common sense or decency to understand or read the signs that are put out on the door , as you walk up. This corporate store is not gonna fail over your 20 dollars that it makes from a few customers. The morning and 2nd shift make plenty of money to keep the business running lol . If you been in there you would see how busy it is .”

I want to recognize Grace, a young pharmacy technician at Walgreens, for delivering outstanding service under pressure. She was single-handedly managing both the drive-thru window and the front counter—and despite the heavy workload, she handled everything with professionalism, kindness, and efficiency. Grace filled my wife’s prescription quickly and made sure we were taken care of, even with a line of customers waiting. Her calm demeanor and dedication truly stood out.
