“In response to a previous review: Why is HEB NOT just another grocery store? Why is it worth it to fight the crowds or (just a thought) time your trip for slower hours like weekday mornings? Here is your answer!1. Fresh tortillas and tortilla chips made all day long in the store.2. Bread baked right there in the bakery and sliced to order - Not shipped in frozen and thawed out on the shelf like Walmart.3. The best selection of wines and cheeses outside of a specialty store.4. Clerks who are always friendly and ready to answer questions! This kind of customer service is a lost art form. Thanks HEB!5. Great selection of party trays from bakery and/or deli.6. and finally (something our transplant from CA hasn't had time to appreciate possibly: local specialties from small business vendors that are FAR superior to National Chain Store options.Give them a chance you'll see why Texans just LOVE their HEB.”

“We don't go in the store very often, so this review mainly pertains to the pharmacy. Excellent quality service and staff... Always friendly and helpful. On this particular instance, we were on the way home from the ER and had a paper prescription for an antibiotic we need filled promptly. The woman who helped us, Michele, and her pharmacist, were both extremely courteous, friendly, and helpful. They insisted that we wait, and they filled it for us immediately! Within about 7 or 8 minutes, we had our antibiotic in hand, ready to go. I am so thankful that there are good people still out there in this world who love their job and love helping others. It is situations like this that restore my faith in humanity!”

I love how they put out signs when they are closed .Unlike other stores, yes it says they are open 24/7 but come on with one person in the store for overnight how is he supposed to take out trash or go to bathroom ? We feel so entitled as customers that most don’t realize he’s just a person and not some robot . But I understand it maybe that some of you don’t use your common sense or decency to understand or read the signs that are put out on the door , as you walk up. This corporate store is not gonna fail over your 20 dollars that it makes from a few customers. The morning and 2nd shift make plenty of money to keep the business running lol . If you been in there you would see how busy it is .”

“I absolutely need to give a shout out to Susie in Photo at the Walgreens/Hudson Oaks location! She is proof that there is still awesome customer service in the crazy, not so friendly sometimes, world we live in. She is genuine and so so sweet. You will leave with your beautiful photos feeling like you just made a new friend, I did! The pictures I submitted for a very simple photo book were not cropped properly (my bad) not only did she call me and alert me with the problem, but when I got there she was patient and took the time to help me organize everything for my precious photo book for my grandson! Everyone there was friendly and extremely helpful! I won't get pictures developed anywhere else! Thank you Susie!”
