Really disappointed in the store. Top to bottom worst gun store I’ve entered in my 43 years. I own 2 construction companies and I’ve been in lucrative business for 15+ years in McKinney. I have a good knowledge of what customer service and fair business looks like.
I live in Grayson County. I read about this store in the Howe TX local newspaper. I recently decided to pop in and check it out. They definitely have a solid inventory and a very friendly dog that greets you. The gentleman who helped me started his greeting off with arrogance. And it went down from there. He had less knowledge about his products than a 17-year-old kid working at Academy. Another gentleman came out and I later learned that he was one of the owners. He was extremely condescending and not helpful at all. What’s worse is that you can tell this man has everything riding on the store and he puts zero customer service or intelligence into it. Every item in the store was priced significantly higher than any other local store, including big box retailers. Like grossly high. I would strongly recommend going a bit further to Plano or Dallas. Not worth a visit.

I gotta say that their customer service is top notch, I asked Jared a number of questions and he was very polite, and very informative. I dropped off a gun for service, and Jared was very knowledgeable of my gun, which was nice. This place is my new gun store and gunsmith moving forward. Thank you Jared

I called Guns and More looking for a Zastava ZPAP M70 and Jared took the time to explain my options for that particular model. I was able to pick up the AK a few days later and Jared was very friendly and personable. Jared has an AWESOME store with LOTS of great items to choose from. His prices are the best around that I have seen as well. I will ABSOLUTELY be buying from Jared from now on.

It was pretty cool to be greeted at the door by a wolf dog. The real treat was the way Jared to his time to explain all the weaponry I looked at. If you are looking for a particular item it is probably here. Did I mention the price I got was outstanding! I will continue to do business here and will recommend them to everyone I can. Very professional and helpful. The range has automated target retrieval at distances from 5 yards to 22 yards.

No they probably aren't the cheapest place around but you get what you pay for. Friendly, knowledgeable staff that doesn't mind answering any questions. I had a 1911 cerakoted and a revolver nickel plated. Looking forward to future projects

I wish I had taken a "before" picture, unfortunately I did not... This rifle was purchased for me by my Pop around 1974 (not sure exactly when). Was my first center-fire hunting rifle. I went into the military in 1983 and asked my parents to store it for me. When I went to get it back 4-years later, Pop said it's under the bed, so I went to grab it and it was stuck to the carpet (had rusted and stuck - no comments, I know...). I initially started to try to restore it myself many years ago. I had stripped down and polished the external surfaces (bluing), got some of the rust pits out, and sanded the wood thinking I would be able to bring this rifle back to it's original beauty. It didn't take long to discover that you need a real Gunsmith (not an novice/amateur pretending I had a clue) to do this right and not create a dangerous weapon. I saved up some money (took a while), and finally dropped it off at Guns N More. A few weeks later I had a rifle that looks even better than it did when it was brand new. This rifle looks amazing and is worth every dollar it cost. THANK YOU!!!

What a great find in a small town! Jarred & Alan are both knowledgable and provide great customer service. They have a large selection and can order stuff in as well. They also have a very nice, full service gunsmith shop. Highly recommend visiting these guys.

I have an American Tactical 5.56mm Piston Gun by Adams Arms. I’ve had it for a long time and put a lot of rounds through it. I have dropped it off at Guns N More at least three times. It had a feeding problem, broke a piston drive rod and recently broke the bolt carrier impingement for the piston rod. Each time they fought to get the manufacturer warranty to cover the repairs and were successful most of the time. This has saved me several hundred dollars on several different weapons. They charged me the labor at a very reasonable price too. I highly recommend them for any job, any size, and on any weapon within reason. Dan “Hondo” Hall
