Jessica does wigs, razor cuts, balayage, corrective haircuts (another stylist made you look like a plucked chicken? She can fix that), and specializes in healthy, touchable, feminine hair. I have 4A hair, and my hair cuts are always on point, but she works with all hair types as she got her start working with straight and wavy hair. I highly recommend her for alopecia as well; I have seen her work miracles. She is not cheap, but she is worth it.

So I am writing this review because the others are lacking. I don't care if my hair stylist is sexy. I don't care about Gail who no longer works here. I don't care that she pissed off a loiterer who was never getting service (should you be able to post a review for a business you never even had any intention of patronizing? I think not). So to an actual REAL review: Jessica is the bomb. She never overbooks. She does it all: natural hair, relaxed hair, vibrant, but healthy, colored hair and weaves. She has an entire room at her shop dedicated to wigs both for fun and practical purposes (she works frequently with cancer patients). She is one of the only stylists I know who insists on strand tests before she colors. She cares about the health of your hair and she makes sure you leave the salon happy. Her haircuts are so good that when I cheated on her (she is far from where I live) the hairstylist raved about my cut's precision. SHE DOES NOT DO HARD HAIR STYLES! If you want that crispy 90's look go someplace else. If you want a short do with the back of your hair faded, go someplace else. If you want a look that goes well with those cheap-looking Miss Piggie eyelashes, go someplace else. If you want weave that people believe is yours, go to Jessica. I you want a romantic, pin-curled inspired short do, go to Jessica. If you are professional and need to keep it classy, or a rebel who wants pink or bleached hair that does not look damaged or fall out, go to Jessica. Just please don't go so much that I can't get an appointment. Seriously.

This place is fantastic! We've been coming here for years, and Jessica is amazing. She works with customers to make sure the haircut you get is exactly what you want. She is by far the best stylist we've ever had. If you try her once, you'll never be able to go back to other places. She's the best!

Got my hair done today and LOVE IT!! My first time and Jessica did a phenomenal job working with me to find the perfect color. My blowout came out great despite the Houston weather today. For the quality, the price is reasonable and worth it. Will definitely be coming back!
