The people who work in the bank are professional and courteous, however you may want to use caution when using this bank.
I had an unauthorized withdrawal from my Woodforest bank account. A company illegally took some of my Dept Treasury's VA check with no authorization and Woodforest wouldn't do anything about it. I pay that particular account out of another bank and will be switching all my funds to my other bank.
They made up an excuse that I'd used my card to make a payment and had allowed them to withdraw funds in the past. That's only partly true. I used my Woodforest card for a down payment but never gave them authorization to take money without my explicit permission. This is not only illegal, but bad business practice on behalf of Woodforest for not retrieving my money. I guess it's one of those things you'll understand when it happens to you, unfortunately.

I have been with Woodforest Bank over a year. I must say Rachel Sumlin is the best. She help me open my bank account. Along with my son's first bank account. She is very helpful. Helped me today apply for a credit card. I will continue to come with her. I highly recommended her to help you open a bank account. Also all other employees are very nice.
