My favorite woodworking store in the greater Houston area. It's got better selection and prices than Rockler. It is a lot farther from my house than the south location but I still make the drive every now and then.

Horrible experience, a bunch of rude grumpy old guys. I will never go back there.

We met Eric and John. They answered all our questions and helped us on what type of equipment would work best for our setup. Couldn't ask for better customer service.

Total novice here. I took Intro to Woodworking Machines with Phil. I got lucky enough to have a one on one class and it was fantastic. He was patient and encouraging the whole time. I left feeling totally ready to take another class!

These folks kick butt. Helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and good natured. I probably stop in 3-4 times a week for supplies I could order online. Also the cleanest bathrooms on this side of town.

Just wanted our money no help after sale. Marks answer was you have to call next wave customer service. Over $6000 down the drain. THANKS MARK!

Broke the handle on my grandfather’s Bailey No. 6 hand planer that I am restoring. Took it in for some advice on how to fix or replace it. An elder gentleman fixed the handle with wood glue and another gentleman advised on the steps to follow to finish the restoration. Very grateful!

Great store if you know what you want, but if you have a question or need assistance forget about it. The staff could care less. I use Woodcraft frequently in my small woodworking business. If you are looking for friendly and knowledgeable staff then use the South West store on the Beltway. I have never been disappointed in their service. Not sure what the problem is in Cypress but I will not shop there anymore.

Worth every minute of the drive from Cypress. They have a great selection of tools, books, and supplies for woodcrafting of all kinds. For those with families, they have 2 large individual restrooms, and the staff are always kind and welcoming. We've visited a few times, and will definitely come back.

Great place for quality tools and finishes. They have a good selection of wood too but if you are going to buy a lot you might do better going to Mason’s Mill or Clark’s Hardwoods. If you have questions or need recommendations the staff are also wood workers and can offer advice. They do classes too but with the unpredictability of my work I haven’t been able to take any yet. Some day I would like to do the hand plane class and a lathe class.
