Avoid the pharmacy at this location like the plague. They recently refused to give an elderly, disabled relative a covid booster on two separate occasions. The first time they refused because he did not bring his vaccine card to the appointment. However, the last couple of times he had a covid shot he had been told (at different pharmacies) that vaccine cards were no longer being used and that the card was therefore no longer needed to get a vaccine. I have personally had this same experience. As bad as this first experience was, I could chalk it up as a fluke to some degree. However, the second experience was unforgivable in my opinion. The elderly relative in question has a muscle disease that severely limits his mobility. He can barely walk, can only stand for 15 or 20 minutes without extreme discomfort, and does not have enough strength to get up from ANY typical chair. He also has so little strength that he cannot ASSIST anyone in getting him up from a chair. It generally takes two very strong men to get him up. This means that any time he goes to any appointment where he has to wait around for a period of time he must stand up for the duration of that time because if he sits down, he cannot get back up. If the wait if very long, as is often the case, he experiences extreme discomfort. In this particular case, after being refused the vaccine for not bringing his vaccine card to the appointment, he made another appointment for the following day and brought the vaccine card with him. It took almost an hour after the designated appointment time before they got around to him. The pharmacy staff were politely informed about his disability during the wait but seemed relatively unconcerned. He was tempted to walk out on several occasions during this wait but was determined to get it all over with, particularly after having already investing so much time and effort into the process. When the pharmacist finally got around to giving him the vaccine, he was informed that he could not he given the vaccine unless he SAT DOWN in a folding chair. He told the pharmacist that he would be unable to get up from the chair if he sat in it, but the pharmacist flatly refused to give it to him if he was standing up. This is UTTER NONSENSE. He gets a flu shot every year, and this would have been his 4th or 5th covid shot. NEVER before had he been given such an ultimatum when attempting to get a vaccine. So think about it: An elderly, disabled person that falls in the highest risk category for severe complications from covid is denied the ability to obtain a vaccine that could protect him from death or hospitalization BECAUSE he is a TOO DISABLED to submit to this pharmacists preferred method of vaccination. This situation becomes ever more ridiculous when one considers that one of the biggest problems the health community faces is that NOT ENOUGH people have been motivated to keep their covid vaccines up to date. It certainly does not help when people that WANT to do this are faced with obstacles created by people like this heartless pharmacist that make no sense and are difficult for them to overcome. This was probably the worst experience he has ever had at any business establishment of any type. He plans to never go to a Walgreens store again and I plan to join him in that regard.

The manager on duty (yellow shirt, black women) will literally walk around while a line is pursuing at the self checkout and will not offer to check anyone out. Also, elderly customers were struggling with the self checkout (while people are waiting) and did not offer help. And thennn had the nerve to snap on an elderly lady because she put her coupon in the wrong place lol. DO BETTER

After being told at another Walgreens store that they could not "process" my COVID vaccine for some unknown reason, I called this store to make sure they could. The pharmacy employee assured me they could do it. So, I made an appointment, drove to this store, and got the same runaround. The employee refused to contact a manager, so basically I'm stuck.

This is the pharmacy with the most rude cashiers that I've ever known. I pay with my money to have good service, I'm not going to ask them, but every time you go and pay and ask if the offer was discounted, oh God help and whether it was their store or they have one. I have to pay them for one name the truth because it is the most Serca I have boy you should from time to time but they must implement better customer service

Very bad experience, I went to buy medication at the pharmacy located inside the establishment and they made me change the prescription three times at the discretion of the employee who treated me and in the end I was not able to purchase medication for my child because they said they did not have Medicaid coverage. Terrible, I don't recommend it at all, don't waste your time in this place.

Ms. Peggy is such a great help every time I go into the store. I have never seen anything but a smile on her face. Also her laughter is contagious. It doesn't matter how bad of a day I am having, my mood is greatly improved when I leave because of her!

I went in there today and for the sole purpose of getting deodorant..After looking for that section I finally find it,mind you with no help from step..But I as I get to to that department.I help help needed in shave and such and such..I didn’t ask for help..So what that tells me is that they definitely racial profiling or stereotyping..I picked up my deodorant and some snacks..Only to not even get rung up for the deodorant..So now still need deodorant.

The pharmacist at this location working 2/20/23 at 10:00 a.m. literally made up a law to avoid doing his job. He referenced the Texas Controlled Substances Act (TCSA) as a reason that he could not tell me whether my medication, which is currently in short supply, was in stock or not. Instead, he wanted my doctor to go through the trouble of sending in the prescription only to then find out whether we needed to go through the trouble of pulling it back and finding another pharmacy. I reviewed the TCSA and there is no such rule. I spoke with Walgreens customer support, and they have no such policy. H-E-B was quick to tell me that they were out of stock and uncertain when they would receive stock. CVS told me immediately that they had it available and to send the prescription their way. I made formal complaint to the pharmacist. There are plenty of other Walgreens nearby that have educated pharmacists that know the law and their own policies. I suggest going to one of them.

Walgreens is typically great at service and staff is normally helpful. However, this location’s pharmacy is always rushing you. I think if they just spend 30 extra seconds to listen and explain, it would provide a better experience overall.
