Cashier saw me trying to get cash from the atm when i finally asked for assistance that’s when she informed me the atm didn’t even have cash. Why not tell me that when you first saw me trying to use it ??

Waited all summer for their "upgrades" if you want to call it that. Same annoying loud self-checkout machines. The navigation signs are turned the wrong direction and too high up. I've been going to this particular location for over 10 years. I am planning to switch to a different location. What I understand from the manager is that these changes were made at the corporate level. well why does that not surprise me. New Hot shots going in and changing it up without a thought as to whether the consumer will appreciate the changes they're making. In this case all they did was managed to turn themselves into another cvs.

I have been dealing with this Wallgreens for close to 20 years and have had no problems w refilling my prescriptions. The past 6 months have been horrible. My husband is having a problem refilling his diabetes medication. His MD increased the dose and for some reason cannot refill when needed supposedly for insurance reasons. Thus, at times he had to drop the dose. As for me, I am having a problem w my BP medication. Someone put me on a “save a trip program” without my consent. So I picked up my refill and received only 7 pills. Thus, I can only get more pills 1 day before I am all out of BP medication. Moreover, if they have to order from Dallas my refill is delayed 2 days which means I go w/o my BP medication. How is this saving me a trip if I get a supply of one week and then have to request a refill w a “rush” attached and go back after a week for a refill? If this continues I will have no choice to find another pharmacy. I hope Wallgreens take our reviews seriously before someone gets sick because of their mis-management . Their review score speaks for itself.

If i could give 0 stars I would. The hispanic lady walking around the store kept giving me and my friend bad looks. I was wondering why she kept looking at us and asking us questions. She then walked up to us and asked us to leave. We asked her why since the store was indeed not closed yet but she accused us of stealing. She claimed we had items in our pockets. I’m so glad this location is closing down. That was the most uncomfortable i’ve ever felt shopping at walgreens. We visited on March 1, 2024.

I have used this as my pharmacy for 20 years and the last year it has become a complete disaster. Meds are never ready. Can’t get auto refill set up properly ever no matter how many times I request it. Staff is super rude, slow or confused. Pharmacist are super annoyed if you try to ask them anything at all. Never give proper accurate notice so you have to drive up there a go zillion times or call. Then when you finally can go back up there the third time they have restocked it. There are too many easy mail directly to you pharmacies to keep dealing with this. Hire better staff and pay them more. This pharmacy has got to be pulling in millions every year so there is just NO excuse for this.

Great pharmacy and great employees but drive thru is awful! 8 cars waiting in the line and not a single car moved in 30 minutes. When called the pharmacy they said they have only one person at drive thru. I will change my review to 5 stars once pharmacy management improve the situation with drive thru.Just spoke to Elizabeth that works in drive thru. She was extremely rude and said “come in and make a work schedule for us if you aren’t happy with wait time” so rude!

This pharmacy is completely incompetent. I receive a notice prescription is ready but when I arrive it hasn’t even been pulled after 6 days in their system. Then tell me they are out of the generic and it will cost $300 to buy the brand name. There is no generic made and have always gotten the brand name for $30. They lie, wont let you talk to pharmacist, not even sure if there is a pharmacist on staff. Spend over 20 minutes on hold to talk to the alleged pharmacist but keep getting told they are with another customer Compete horrible customer service, unknowledgeable staff and probably no pharmacist even works there. Should be illegal to operate like that. What if there was an emergency?

Call them to fill a prescription, they say it would be ready in a hour, call back 2 hours later and they say there's no record of me calling in. Ok I make another order to fill a prescription, they said I would get a text and call when order is ready. Fast forward a week and still no text no call no order.

My score here is based on their photo area only. I gave this store 4 stars because one of my calendars was incomplete and It was good that I checked before I paid for it. Other than that, they do a great job at photo lab unlike the Fondren West Belfort store that has disappointed me so much.

On 8/18 @18:00 I went to Walgreens #00553 (5300 N Braeswood in Houston, TX) I wish I could multiple negative stars. I had gotten my passport photo taken at this location on 7/20 with a 95% guarantee by the photographer that it would not be rejected. This was my second photo that was rejected by passport agency. I had to send in both photos to passport agency since first photo was not received. I showed manager Chris my photo documentation with passport photo + receipt as well as documentation from passport agency that it was rejected for blurry, pixelated photo. I went to Walgreens and spoke to Chris manager and they would not issue refund bc I did not have a physical photo copy even though it would be destroyed anyway. I showed all my photographic documentation and still was not issued refund of overpriced $16.99 + tax. I was told to call customer service to obtain refund when phone number is not even available on receipt. There was no offer to retake passport photo or remedy this failed service in any way. Worst customer service and has delayed my passport renewal already a month + wasting time obtaining and sending new photos. I have already paid for expedited passport processing to see aging relatives and this has already ruined this planned overseas trip. I recommend Walgreens retrain their managers and employees in customer service as well as passport photography processing.I sent inquiries via instagram message and Walgreens website how to obtain refund with no response. Please advise how to obtain refund of $18.39 for passport photos that failed service. RFN# 0055-3667-6948-2307-2003
