My 1 star rating has nothing to do with COVID, as I have been having the same problems with then since I moved to Clear Lake and switched to the pharmacy on Clear Lake City Blvd., near Hwy3 (ONLY because it's about a mile away from my house). My main complaint is something that happens EVERY SINGLE TIME (no exaggerating) that I call to speak to someone in the pharmacy department about a prescription refill or question. When O call this Walgreens and go through the automated system until it says it's going to connect me to someone in the pharmacy that can help me, I'll usually have to listen to elevator music (on hold) for about 5-10 minutes before they answer, if they even answer at all, or don't pick up and hang up--this has happened a few times, too) before someone in the pharmacy answers. Then 8 (maybe 9) times out of 10, I'll immediately hear, "Walgreens Pharmacy, can you please hold", and of course they put you on hold before you even have a chance to respond.. Then another 5-10 minutes go by before they pick up the phone. Too. Many. Times. There's even been times that this pharmacy doesn't answer their phone at all. One time I waited for like 15 minutes before I finally hung up and called another department to see if their phones were working back there. They still wouldn't answer the phone after this employee I spoke to brought it to their attention, and I ended up wasting another 5 minutes on hold waiting for the pharmacy to answer. Still nothing. I finally hung up and called for the store manager. He went back there, and they called me back about 5 minutes later. I dread having to call them, which has been happening a lot lately because they keep screwing up my prescription refills. However I will say, there are very nice people working there and the pharmacist there is great! I just think they need more people working back there so they could provide better service..
