On hold for 12 minutes, then picked up & deliberately hung up on at 130pm because that was their lunch break. I've had to call 3 days in a row for 15-20min each to get my prescription when I shouldn't have had to call at all if their staff would actually update the system when new online requests came in 1-4 days before & then again to get my meds ordered (they told me they ordered it, but the pharmacist told me it wasn't actually ordered the 1st time they said it was, so she was actually placing the order when I called again (for the 3rd time about different med)), and now I'm having to call again 24 hours after it was due to arrive because every time my meds are delivered, no one bothers to update the system so I know they're ready. If you don't want angry customers blowing up your phones, then try doing the absolute, bare minimum first. We don't like calling you 3-5 days in a row for an infuriating 15-20 minute call (that shouldn't last more than 3 minutes) either! This isn't even the 1st poor experience I've had here. I've been screamed at & outright lied to my face before by people who would rather play stupid than understand the question I'm repeatedly asking them and then getting an attitude with me when I have to ask it again for the 3rd & 4th time. I don't care how busy you are; don't play stupid with me iver and over, because you'd rather put your energy into being lazy, and then think you're in a position to lose *your* patience with *me*. It's not gonna go well for you. All this said, there are a couple of really nice pharmaceutical staff here who were the only reason I kept coming back for so long. Would love to get their names and thank them personally here, but I doubt I'll get them before I give up on this hot mess place.

Wanda the manager was unhelpful and rude. Online Walgreens states that you can price match but she didn’t feel like getting up to do the change upon the employee request. Won’t come here again. Lazy manager

Worst pharmacy in River Oaks. I have asked them REPEATEDLY not to put my medication on auto fill. They have cost me so much money from refusing to remove the medication I asked. I will go in and they’ll hand me 2 or 3 bags of pills I’m no longer taking. They won’t stop harassing my doctors office for refills on medication I don’t take. THESE PEOPLE ARE MORONS.

I confirm my appt with the Walgreens website online for 4 vaccinations (Covid, flu, pneumonia, and RSV), at my local Walgreens at 3:40pm on 8/14/23. 3:15 pm - I arrive (25 minutes early) and confirm my appt with the clerk. I am the only one there for vaccinations. The clerk then tells me they do not have the RSV vaccine! I ask why, if it was confirmed online and by email? She does not know. 3:40 pm - 25 minutes later, at my appt time, the clerk tells me I have a form to complete. She tells me it will come by email. 3:55 pm - The email has not arrived. I give her another email address to try and sends it to this second email address. It too never arrives. 4:00 pm - She asks for my ID and insurance.4:05 pm - She finally prints out the form for me to complete. She tells me I only need to enter the vaccines I am to receive and then sign and date. She doesn't notice that the form is in Spanish! (I don't read Spanish.) I complete the form as instructed. She returns it to me and tells me I must complete the entire form which is full of personal and medical questions. I point out to her that the form is in Spanish and I don't read Spanish. I hand her the form and she goes to the back again.4:20 pm - She finally comes back and hands me the form again to complete! This time it's in English.At this point, I've been at this Walgreens for over an hour, and they are no closer to being ready to give me my vaccinations than when I arrived. (During this entire time, no one else has received a vaccination either!) I've had enough, tell her so, and leave.(I will never go to Walgreens for a prescription or a vaccination again if I can avoid it.)

No cold ginger ale. If you are a pharmacy you need to have ginger ale. It is critical to the healing process. Despite Walgreens hating woman's health care apparently they also hate cold ginger ale. I had to settle for 7up which is insane. If you keep one thing stocked all the time Walgreens if it's not going to be the abortion pill it should at least be ginger ale.

I ordered a set of photos on line. Went to the W. Gray Walgreens to pick up the photos. 5 people in line and 1 cashier!! Returned today and again a line of customers and 1 cashier. I asked cashier to call for some help. Yep, I KAREN -ED it up!! No one came to help the cashier.Horrible service, long waits. No help.

My appointment for a shingles shot was 9:45 no adherence to time schedule. the later who gave the shot did not explain anything. Tried to reach to pharmaciy for 4 days to make an appointment never picked up

If zero stars was an option, this Walgreens would get it. The slowest and worst pharmacy in the Greater Houston area, with excessive wait times especially in the drive thru, completely eliminating any benefit that is supposed to come with filling a prescription at a pharmacy with the intent of picking up with minimal delay or hassle. The added "bonus" of locking up the body wash is my personal favorite. Razors and other "dangerous" or more expensive items I can understand. Olay with collagen? Nope. Too many other options in a small radius. Will never return to this location.

I called this Walgreens twice trying to see if they had the insulin I use in stock they hung up on me twice. Tried calling back and it sounds like someone is literally picking up the phone and hanging it up. Not a reliable place to get medication if that medication is something you have to take otherwise you will literally die I would not count them as a reliable source.

Very good service. This store will text and call me when my meds are ready and I pick them up with no problem. Sure, they can be busy, but that’s not their fault. My co-pays are usually straight forward, but one time it got complicated and two staff members worked on it and ended up successfully reducing my payment.
