Permanently closed. I appreciated having a dependable dry cleaner nearby.

Took two suits in on Friday, told they would be done on Monday, went to pick them up on Thursday, they still aren’t done and they can’t tell when they will be. Take your business elsewhere.

We used this place multiple times since it's by our house. But EVERY time they tell us a price at drop off and then it's about double when we go to pick it up. Nothings written down and we pay different prices every time we go, but not once has it been the same as they said it was. We started going somewhere more upfront on their pricing.

Expensive prices, and their hours are posted on the door but they don’t follow them. Drove by twice this week after they had opened and no one was there. Don’t waste your time/money with this place.

I used Urban Cleaners on Studemont in Houston for many years. Today I was treated poorly by an employee named Star. She wore her mask on her chin instead of covering her mouth and nose in a small store. That is unprofessional conduct in a pandemic with a recent surge. She presented many orders from previous weeks that had been misplaced. She told me to look up my past receipts instead of looking up the charges herself to see if I had already paid or not. Why should I do the work to confirm the past mistakes of this business I had been loyal to for years? She yelled at me on a phone call.I will not use this company again.

GET PRICES FROM THEM UP FRONT. Go to Yelp and read all the negative reviews. Owner is supposedly Jose Eduardo Rapalo. You can't find anything about him online. They have no phone number for him and do not know how to locate him. Harris County Tax rolls show a George Froming of Ohana Interests as the owner. Who knows? RUN FROM HERE!
We moved our offices near here and I wanted a laundry and dry cleaner that was close. That is not a good reason to choose a business, my bad.
I took in 1 pair of slacks and 7 shirts on 11/22 (the day before Thanksgiving) and was told they would be ready after 5 on Friday. That is marked on the ticket as well. When I went in Saturday afternoon of the 25th the lady working there looked at me like was an idiot, looked at the customer behind me and announced that there was no way things could be ready on Friday as Thursday was thanksgiving and that my clothes would be ready on Monday after 5. OK then.
I go in on Monday or Tuesday to pick up my order and am told it will be $26.91 which is a bit pricey for one pair of slacks dry cleaned and 7 shirts laundried. Turns out that was for 1 pair of slacks and only 6 shirts as one shirt was "on hold." If the pants are $5 the shirts are $4 per for laundry???
Then when I ask why my shirt is "on hold" I am given a rambling explanation that sometimes when there is a spot or etc. they keep it to try different things. OK, when can I get it? Come in in a few more days. I then had to tell her to write on the ticket that there is a missing shirt and give me the ticket back! She wanted me to leave without any proof they had a shirt of mine.
I went back about 5 days later and different lady is not sure why shirt is "missing" now. Do I know precisely which shirt is was as there were seven, etc. I own roughly 40 to 50 shirts so, know I am not sure which of a blue or lavender checked shirt it is. BUT If you had it on hold to "Clean It" Why now do you not know where it is?
I have since been back twice more and I am going in today in about 5 minutes. This is January 9th. My shirt has been "On Hold" for "Cleaning" for nearly two months.
This place is an unmitigated JOKE. Let the buyer beware.

I've used them a few times in the past 3 years, but recently they decided there was 'too much dog fur'...didn't call me...just showed up 5 days later to dirty laundry. Never had this problem before...same dog...just a lazy dry cleaner.
