One of the best businesses in Houston. Once I had to replace the seats in my bathtub faucets (rental), and all I had to do was to take an ancient faucet handle with no brand name visible into the store and the owner immediately knew what brand it was, and that it required a special seat-puller tool - which he lent me (with guarantee of credit card left behind). Wonderful people. The best.

If you need anything related to plumbing, this place probably has it. I was in there earlier this week looking for a replacement valve cartridge for my shower. I was getting only super hot water from the shower, making it completely unusable. I brought the cartridge in, and the guy at the counter knew immediately what I needed. It was fast and easy. The downside is that I paid $66 for it here, and the same item was $40 online. I'm still giving them 4 stars because it was in-stock, the customer service was excellent, and without his help, I really wouldn't have known which cartridge to order anyway. Also, they play pretty good music in there. I recommend this place for your plumbing needs, especially if you need expertise.

I visited this place before but today the Caucasian guy with the dirty overalls was rude. If he doesn't want to assist , then just say that. I have been there before a few times but today was a whole different experience.

A gem of a place, it should've been my first stop. The owner was able to take a brief glance at my o-rings and knew immediately the ones I was gonna buy were a little off from the original in my hand. He got me sorted quickly. Friendly people - not sure if everyone there works there though..I wish I had cash on me ($5 minimum) but he was kind enough to let this one pass. There are a few parking spots in the back, I just street parked.

This place is the BEST. I'm the nightmare customer with a 90 year old house and NOTHING standard. They have always been able to match my part or find a work around.They also appear to do a brisk business for those in the trade. They have everything.

Good luck EVER getting this kind of service and knowledge at a big box store or even the friendly Ace Hardware full of retirees (they’re great but for tricky items, not so much). U plumb it didn’t even have what I needed BUT they identified what it actually was and gave me the name/part number. Granted, it’s a little cramped in there and you’ll have to be patient with all the other pros getting their wares but hopefully this place never goes away.

My recent experience at U-Pumb-It was terrible. After numerous promises, the part I needed was never supplied nor ordered. I support small business owners like U-Plumb-It whenever possible vs big box stores and have had good experiences in the past. Most recently, after waiting several minutes in line I spoke with the counter about my needs. The senior employee (owner?) was impatient, rude and vulgar, in spite of my patience in line. He even spoke badly about the junior staff saying they have no knowledge of the business and are just "go-fors". Other customers (professional plumbers) confirmed this behavior is not uncommon and even provided suggestions that the counter failed to offer. I continued to wait but I was impolitely ordered to leave the building and that someone else would assist the next day. I made 2 followup calls which were unsuccessful. I would not recommend anyone use this business.

The owner was extremely helpful. Helped make sure that everything was working properly after we installed the new parts. Would definitely go there again for any plumbing parts needed in the future.

Can't say enough good things about this store and the owner Ken Ward. U-Plumb-It has been my source for parts and advice for years. Ken will go out of his way to help with DIY plumbing repairs. He recently referred me to a plumber, Jason Luck, who took on a complicated job that three plumbers had turned down -- and he even did the job on a Saturday to boot. Just hope to heck they'll be around for a long time.
