I'm still trying out this gym, however, I wanted to give it a five-star review because of the outstanding customer service that was given to me by Caesar the front desk. It's an older gym with a lot of history. Let's see what we can do as a community to bring back to life an amazing part of history.

YMCA is a great friendly place, not only for working out - you can find all kinds of sports there on all levels, but it's a great place for socializing and making friends.

The rating of one star is for the poor customer service exhibited today by Trotter YMCA's Director of Operations Lesley Zimmer. I had a question about the YMCA's policy regarding a class, and her responses were condescending and defensive. Lesley Zimmer rolled her eyes, and exhibited a lack of knowledge of the YMCA policies, and was unable to answer my question. It is evident Ms. Zimmer also lacks professionalism when dealing with clients. She's certainly a bad reflection of the YMCA culture.Lesley Zimmer does not represent the YMCA's vision - " We envision a future in which all people, no matter who they are or where they come from - get the support they need, when they need it".That vision is not demonstrated by Trotter YMCA's director Leslie Zimmer.

The Trotter never returned to the pre-pandemic status. Numerous virtual Les Mills classes were added, which obviously most people do not like. Still, we are the ones paying for the TVs and the Les Mills recordings. It is very uncomfortable to have TVs in the same rooms where we have classes. Saturdays are especially hard. Only very young people are taking care of the facilities and they do not have appropriate training. They can only take care of easy stuff. I have seen people entering the facilities -mostly men- without using their Y cards as, supposedly, we all have to use. Who are they? No live classes on Friday starting at 12 pm! The Sunday yoga class at 10:15 am that had numerous attendees was cancelled during the pandemic. The facilities only open at 10:30 am on Sundays and the first live yoga class is at 12:15 pm! Do you really think this is a convenient time for a class?Trainers are excellent and there are a number of good classes, but not as many as before the pandemic.

The Trotter YMCA always has lots of people in it because there are lots of group and individual exercise choices. A huge variety of classes are offered at convenient times. It always feels safe: people are spread out and everything is very clean.

Shelley Flom is the best personal trainer! She’s innovative and keeps the sessions challenging. I highly recommend her.

THIS YMCA HAS A LOT GOING ON BUT IT GETS REALLY PACKED FROM 5-7PM. THE LOCKERS ARE NICE AND THE EQUIPMENT IS RELATIVELY NEW. THEY OFFER CLASSES AS WELL. THE OUTDOOR POOL IS NICE.

Female Locker rooms are available to trans men, which is unsafe for my daughter, who now because biological men are openly welcomed to locker room, where there is no female security on staff. A TOTALLY NUDE MAN CAN LEGALLY WALK AROUND THE LOCKER ROOM AND EXPOSE THEMSELVES TO YOU OR YOUR CHILDREN , with a cell cam.Staff is rude, rushes you through new sign on process. Does not mention any classes available or services. COST was not mentioned until I requested it.ID is taken and they sign up up before you agree to join, on the pretense of them needing it. Keep reading to hear about the tour.BUT Staff doesn't know classes offered or times for our needs, referring to The YMCA App numerous times. They gave notification of any classes offered or how to sign up without the app.No NEW MEMBER TOUR, referred to YMCA app. *** I was told to walk around and give myself a tour**** (do I work there?!) despite never having been here. It smells badly in any room with carpet.PARKING GARAGE is a mess. And that was just the first day. If you don’t have enough memory for the Trotter Fam YMCA App, don't bother.

Amazing YMCA! They have so many things to do! From group classes to pickleball to basketball to racquetball to swimming to lifting weights and cardio to running on their soccer field to playing tennis to doing an exercise on their artificial turf to just sitting in their Cafe where they have a large menu so u can enjoy a meal and be productive! I go to McWilliams Ymca but I still come here every now and then to swim and play racquetball!

I am soo sorry to say that My kids experience from this Ymca is not at all good, I tried to give many chances and excuses, but they didnt even try to do some small effort to leave a good experience for soccor for my 2 boys, every game they have an excuse to put them out of the game, like the player number is not equvalent in each team,or the shin gaurds are missing or they put one of my kids in the opponent team, as my boys are polite and quite and they dont even express themselves, they obey waiting for a game next week which never came!!!! And the training lessons were not at all helpful to prepare you for a game.If you are thinking of some place to help your kids love the soccor and do some sports which they didnt practice before, dont start here please. My experience with weekley ymca was the best (we tried it before that one).so i think i will always be there, despite its more distance from my home.
