“Went in with my fiancé today to get Christmas gift ideas. Kathy was absolutely OUTSTANDING!!!! She answered all our questions and pointed us in the right direction for our needs. We were even able to try out several sets of darts. This place is amazing. They have everything you could possibly need to up your dart game. What’s really cool is they have tons of other fantastic games there as well. We will definitely be coming back and giving them our business. Thank you again for all of your help Kathy.”

“A thoughtful and kind experience at the Willowbrook store! It started with a 7 year old boy proudly buying Legos with $20 of his own money. He set the bag down in a different store and within a couple minutes, the bag was stolen. We went back to the Legos store to buy the same Legos again. The man who helped us asked what happened. I explained the other ones were stolen. He immediately got his manager and they gave us the replacement Legos for free. They did nothing wrong but went above and beyond to right the wrong of a thief in another store. It was so unexpected, kind and thoughtful. Thank you to the Willowbrook Team!!”

“If you're traveling to Houston, this is one of the must-see comic/pop culture shops. It's the largest shop in town with the greatest variety of stuff, so it's got something for the whole family. Most of the original art, rarities, keys, and just the coolest stuff available from the chain stays in the mothership store, and all the best comics are here. It's also in the main tourist/shopping hub in town, right down the street from The Galleria, with plenty of food and entertainment options around.”

“Was visiting Nan's comics and games a few doors down and decided to visit the model shop. Walking in, I was transported back to when I was an avid modeler. They have nearly anything you need from the Japanese robots to model trains! They have the most terrain and building supplies I've seen in person. They also sell completed models and were told by one of the owners they buy old kits people had stashed but never built. The power couple owners were easy to talk to and very knowledgeable! Ya' just gotta go if you ever built models!”

The staff is always friendly and if they don't have something they'll find it and let you know when it's available. The owner consistently gives back to the community and The Heights is lucky to have him. He might sell toys but, like he says, he's not in the toy business... he's in the people business. “Really great place to find random bargains. I’ve found some really great items for my home there. My favorite finds are the books, home goods, and beauty items. Sometimes they don’t stick to the advertisement dates so you might go in and get disappointed to not find an item bc they put it out ahead of time, but oh well.”

“My husband, son-in-law and and daughter come here all the time. I shop here too. This mixed neighborhood loves everyone. Houston is the most internationalist city in the USA! They treat everyone great no matter what color skin you have or how you are dressed. I hope to be invited to do silhouettes in the store. I will bring my grandchild in today for her 7 1/2 year birthday gift. It’s a great toy store.”

“This little place is great! I randomly stopped by today and am so glad I did. They carry a good variety of super cute and high quality stuff. They even had some MagneticMe pajamas that I couldn’t get from the MagneticMe website, but I found in the store! I was shopping for my infant, but my six-year-old niece was along and she was able to find things she liked as well.”

I can honestly say the customer service is amazing and the employees that work there are absolutely kind, respectful, and helpful.
