I just moved out of Towne Plaza approximately 2 wks ago and my time there was both bad and good. Some of the bad things were leaks. Not much after I moved in the bedroom window started leaking Every time it rained and it took almost 2 months several work requests me speaking with several people in the office then me contacting the corporate office for something to be done (I personally don't think I should have to micromanage the staff to have something repaired). Also be prepared that everytime it rains hard the hot water will go out. The good are some of the porters and maintenance staff. I would say before you sign a lease be ready to have a lot of patience. If things are not being done to your satisfaction speak up and stay on top of the staff.

apartment management does not care about its tenants. in 6 months of living here I had 21 work orders. 2 of which were for AC. The apartments found it acceptable to let us go without AC in August for 4 days and then told us "if you cant live without AC go rent a hotel room". Believe the bad reviews and run - they fabricate their own work orders.

This place has gone down hill since they sold it to Gates Co. I loved this place because the staff knew me on a personal level when I first moved in. 2018. The grounds were beautiful and everything was taken care of promptly. Gates Co came in and chopped down all the beautiful greenery. They never complete maintenance request but will say they did. This place looks like a graveyard with the amount of empty units around. It’s become ghetto.•Roaches Roaches Roaches!•Dog feces everywhere and they do nothing about it•Garage smells HORRIBLE•Gates are always left open•There aren’t any knobs on the doors to get in•Water is BROWN and constantly shut off•Pools closed by the city•Overflowing dumpsters garbage everywhere•Mail and Amazon packages stolen because the mailboxes are just OPEN!Honestly the price will get you, but you get what you pay for and that’s dirty water, roaches, and bad management. It took me a year of going up to the office every week after moving out to get my deposit back. The only hope I had was Karla who was nice and gave me corporates number (after 1 year of being out). The manager here was so unprofessional. Her and I got into a loud argument about my deposit with her basically telling me there is nothing she can do and nothing she will do. The management is the reason I left.DO NOT MOVE HERE!

This is by far the most horrible apartment experience I’ve ever had and still having. For over a year I’ve been complaining about a water leak above my bath tub that apparently was created by my upstairs neighbor who doesn’t use shower curtains. Took them 7 months to figure out it’s a pipe problem on the third floor. They’re so called plumbing and maintenance team that they apparently put a lot of money into, I don’t know why I was told that , don’t even know what they’re doing. I had mold over my ceiling and moldy water drilling on my wood floors in my bathroom ruining the wood. And I don’t know why someone wood put wood in a bathroom that’s a horrible idea. By the 10th month my ceiling was starting to fall apart and all they did was slap on some primer and Sheetrock and called it a day. Now it’s been 11 months and they did to fix the problem was literally get cardboard probabilities from the dumpster and they made that my new ceiling. And they put tape and nails to hold it down. This is ridiculous it’s a safety and health hazard and they do not care. Please save your money and time and don’t move in here. They won’t do anything to actually help you, they lie to you and say they have multiple tenants who have problems, and even if they do they should stop being cheap and actually fix the problem. But apparently that’s too much work or someone is running a phony business with non-licensed people.

I would not recommend this place to a dog. It is 100+ degrees outside in Houston and the a/c was off for over 2 weeks now. Maintenance is terrible and the place looks horrible.

This apartment complex by far the worst place to live at, after they sold the property the personnel who took over just plain and simple doesn’t care about their tenants at all, multiple work orders and multiple complaints and they still don’t do anything about it but definitely will be reporting all of this to the BBB and the news so they can make this known because Houston people need to know not to waste their money or time coming to live here. Absolutely horrendous place and lazy maintenance guys and office people as well. I’m glad I no longer live there, saved myself headaches, money and time.

Go anywhere else but here Management is so horrible. Apartment complex is dirty, the apartments are infested with roaches no matter how clean you are, they turn your water off randomly all day with absolutely no warning. The office has no clue what they’re doing. Do not waste your time and money here it’s not worth it.

The worst complex you can move to the water gets turned off twice a week without a notice and also comes out dirty for the first few seconds it's absolutely shocking they don't really fix anything the parking lot is a disaster in the back there's a huge roach and rat problem the office doesn't answer the phone and when you come and consoling about a problem they look confused like it's the first day in the job and best believe when it's Time to move out you are not gonna get that deposit and oh yeah when you use the public laundry room don't be surprised if your clothes gets stolen on camera that they won't let you check and the machines are broke so you will waste a couple bucks using the money on the wrong machine 0/10 unless you like living bad

I lived here for 6 years. The first 4 years were great. The the company sold and it went downhill rapidly! Save your money and look somewhere else! Unless, that is, you don't mind living with roaches, rats, water being turned off for hours, thieves, constantly having your cars vandalized and nothing but a bunch of lazy office personnel who don't communicate with each other. I had a Leak in my ceiling in the kitchen 3 separate times. ( same spot). Took 7 months to get my ceiling back in the second time. They covered it with cardboard after it leaked all weekend. I had no light in there for those 7 months. These people don't care what happens to their tenants. Wost place I have ever lived! Do yourself a favor and rent ANYWHERE but Towne Plaza! I was so happy to get out of there!

Management never answers, front desk will forget your repair request and you will have to call multiple times to get it in place. No website to send repair request to have them in writing or for proof if you want to make a report to the city, which you will if you live here. Don't move here. Water gets cut without warning, repairs will take forever and the workers are rude and liars.
