I’m not one to write reviews,but the service department here is so bad. (With the exception of the young ladies at the reception counter and Paula)
My very first interaction with the man in the first service cubicle closest to the road and farthest from reception was a warning of what was to come. He was sleeping when I was sent to his office and then proceeded to act as if my questions were a nuisance.
I brought my car in for issues covered by my factory warranty and was informed that they we need my vehicle to sit on their lot for 10 days until it could be seen. I was told that if I did not leave my car there I would lose my spot in line. A rental vehicle was not provided, and I was expected to assume the cost of a rental car for 10 days until they could confirm it was a warrantable issue.
At the conclusion of 10 days I reached out to inquire about the status of my vehicle as instructed and was told that they still did not have an update for me. My primary point of contact throughout this ordeal was supposed Paula, but due to her being out for vacation my case was Elizabeth Bell, but due to her lack of communication, I also frequently spoke with Jeremy. Every time I called to speak with someone I was met with irritation from individuals in the service department. I’m not sure why my inquiry’s were met with hostility , but of course I’m going to ask questions when I’ve been paying rental car fees for two weeks.
I finally got my vehicle back today after it sat for 14 days on the lot at the dealership. When I picked up my vehicle not a single person explained to me what was done to it, or how I would be reimbursed for the out of pocket rental that I had to cover due to a ford factory warranty issue.

I purchased my vehicle at a different dealership and do I regret it. I was having a lot of issues at my dealership such as not communicating with me on a recall I had despite multiple attempts to bring my vehicle in for 6 months and just poor customer service. I called Tommie Vaughn after my attempts with the other dealership and was able to get my recall service done within that same week (again, 6 months going back and forth with my home dealership with no resolution). Since then, I’ve been going to Tommie Vaughn for all my services and have always been happy with the service. The people have been extremely helpful and friendly. The mobile service also gives stellar service! I’m able to get my maintenance done in a good timely manner and have my questions/concerns answered in no time.

I had a fantastic experience with Tommie Vaughn Motors! They came right to my location to fix a recall on my car, and their communication was thorough throughout the process. The quality of their work was excellent, and they made the whole experience hassle free. Highly recommend their service.

Another bad experience at Tommie Vaughn Ford! Now it was being overcharged on an oil change. Total bait and switch pricing. Was told filter for my vehicle was more expensive. It was $9. Hard to see how that could have been $0. Petty! Was also told I was due for a $60 environmental assessment at 12,000 miles. After more inquiry, was told this isn’t something Ford or state requires, it’s “recommended” by Tommie Vaughn Ford. Service department also recommend oil change every 5,000 miles rather than 10,000 as per Ford maintenance schedule and vehicle electronic notification. Really?! I don’t think so. Total scam and rip-off. On top of this, tech overfilled air in my tires during tire rotation.
Last time it was surprise credit card surcharge. Time before that it was warranty work that wasn’t completed properly. Before that it was obnoxious sale person (so I bought truck elsewhere). They’re two blocks from my house so it used to be “convenient.”Never again!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR FOR SERVICE OR DIAGNOSTIC! I dropped my car off for a diagnostic repair quote. Took 2 days and me calling to get the quote. They said it's the coolant bypass valve and it'll be $1200. I saw it's a 30 minutes job and $50-$100 part so I paid the diagnostic fee and on the way home bought the part and installed it in 20-30 minutes. That doesn't fix the cooling issue so I call them back and argue with them until they agree to rediagnose it. I drop it off Friday morning and get no calls. Tuesday I keep calling and finally my service advisor answers and say that the engine is "compromised/blown" and that they wouldn't do anything to it. They are dishonest and predatory. YOU WILL NOT GET HONESTY AND TRUTH FROM THEM. THEY WILL TRY TO WORK AS MUCH MONEY FROM YOU AS POSSIBLE AND DISMISS YOU IF YOU CALL THEM OUT ON IT. I was very disappointed in my 3rd service call to fix the same issue. My vehicle wasn’t looked at for 3 full days, which is standard protocol for Ford, then a simple software update fixed the issue. It took 3.5 days to run a software update.
I had a concern about my ac. I Was told nothing was found and was charged $200+ for this news.
I nicely voiced my concern to a service manager and was never called back.
A full extended warranty doesn’t mean much these days.
