Super excited to be moving in to Fountains at Tanglewood. Toured with Naureen and she was very welcoming and forthcoming during the entire process. I highly recommend moving here it’s definitely very convenient since it’s close to so many places and immediate freeways which is necessary especially if you live in Houston! ?

In my opinion, I like living in these apartments, they are quiet to live in, 100% maintenance, and the office staff, They are great, they take good care of you, and if you have any questions they help you answer your questions, They were recommended to live here .?

These apartments are highly recommended… the management is most attentive and friendly… and even more so a lady who is the manager… is the most gentle one can imagine…. The truth is, without a doubt, my best experience in living in apartments…. It's been in these... the maintenance staff is excellent... they have the plugin working 100%, it's a shame that they can only give it 5 stars... because the truth is... They deserve much more… thank you for being so great to the residents…. And all the more thanks to her manager… ADA… has all my admiration and respect for how kind and kind she is to you as a resident of these apartments…. Congratulations on being an incredible work team…. One thousand percent recommended…

My mother been living here for over 5 years. Complex is well kept. Office staff very nice and professional. Glenda has been very helpful every time I stop to inquire about a maintenance issue in my mother’s apartment.

I lived at this complex for 7 years, from 2016-2023. Gail and Sara were awesome managers, and made all of us residents feel at home and welcomed. The maintenance staff was professional and kept the place going and well maintained. It's an older building and plain looking, but kept very clean. Residents got along and it seemed like a big family.
Well, the inevitable happened. Big money and a huge migration from California started infiltrating Texas a couple years ago, along with the new owners of Three Fountains III.
Gone was the coziness of the place, to be replaced by cutting down huge trees that provided natural beauty and shade to the apartments. My apartment faced west and when they chopped that huge tree down, my electric bill soared. The aircon units are old, and couldn't keep up with the demand. I'd have it set at 78 and the temp would go no lower than 82.
They also slapped optic white paint on the outside of the building, destroying the natural beauty of the weathered terracotta brick. It looks so cold and industrial. Who does that??
They also got rid of the backbone of the complex, Gail and Sara. Replaced with new, rude, non caring employees that were only focused on taking away that hometown feel and replacing it with the typical leasing office atmosphere - cold, impersonal and uncaring.
They also stopped the Amazon deliveries to the leasing office. You would think that, with the building being as old as it is with no real updated amenities (no washer dryers in the units, dated appliances) they would at least keep the Amazon package delivery service as a perk. Nope. Stopped it and threatened to send packages back if they kept being delivered to the office.
They forced Sara to retire and the newer girl Kelly was fired with no notice. And I heard they let Caesar and his crew go. That maintenance crew, along with Gail and Sara, created the best apartment crew and atmosphere I've ever had the pleasure of being a resident of, and I've been renting apartments since 1984.
I ended up retiring overseas anyway and was not sorry to leave. I was browsing the internet months later and decided to take a look at the place online and now I'm seeing the 1 star reviews. Give it a couple years and it will be just another Three Fountains I. Too bad, as Three Fountains III used to be the best kept affordable secret in Tanglewood. ?

Ive waited to write a review until I have lived here for a few years, and I hate to say that I agree with the person below that had a 1 star review. Interesting so many 5 stars pop up after that and the management change.
As mentioned, the gate has been broken for some time now so anyone can come and go. I noticed to the old maintenance people aren't there anymore, and I called that the second management changed. Those people were hard working, friendly, and took good care of the place. Since management has changed, trees have been chopped down, bushes removed, anything resembling something other than concrete city was removed from half the apt complex. One of the pools looks like a barren run down hotel pool, but the other side is still nice. Their excuse for the trees was they were "dead", obviously displaying their ignorance on arboriculture. They even laughably painted only the front of the apts, just to get some new pics for google and "rebrand" to whatever. This was 6-8 months ago. The limited washing machines/dryers are almost always broken, including right now. Ive been trying to do my laundry for 4 days now. The top floor walkways are basically deteriorating to the point where in some spots ive either tripped or felt like falling through. The cement stairs are also wobbly and not properly secured. The parking lots are riddled with potholes and loud metallic clanging from cars driving over it. There is dog crap all over the place (even though someone put FREE dog bags out in the grassy areas) even seen dog crap in the middle of the street. There are also quite a few aggressive breeds that have lunged at me a couple of times as well, I'm sure you can guess which. Overall, I loved living here for the reasons already mentioned, but that was prior to the new takeover. I miss Sara and Gayle, they were sweet and cared about the community. The new staff was rude and dismissive the day I met them. The tenants here are nice as mentioned, and it is pretty quite and affordable compared to other places, but really look into these and read more than just the likely bribed 5 star reviews. I wanted to share this anonymously to avoid any potential backlash for my opinions, but know this comes from 4 years of living here.

Nice place to live. We just arrived in the USA from Ukraine. We were greeted very well here and helped to rent a place to live here. Quiet, peaceful place with a convenient location. Thanks to Miss Rosie for her help in all matters. Definitely recommend
