I’ve been taking my dogs to the Tailored Tail for many many years! We had an Airedale terrier and Elizabeth & staff knew exactly how to groom him to how he should look. Every grooming was perfect! Sadly he passed away and I will never forget we received an email from them sending condolences. It was such a sweet gesture during that time in our lives!
A few years later we got a Labradoodle! Again, Elizabeth worked her magic and makes him look soo perfect every time. She gives me honest recommendations on what she should do to him and I fully trust her. All of our dogs have loved going to the tailored tail! If you are looking for the best groomer in Houston, this is it!!

We love this place! So nice to be able to drop off and not have to wait all day to pick up the doggies! Our dogs are very happy and so are we!

We've taken our Golden doodle here twice now and we have loved the results both times. I believe it's the owner who has cut his hair both times and I do not know how she does it but he always looks so fluffy and cute.
She is super super patient and loving. I can tell she not aggressive with the dogs because his behavior is always normal/excited after we pick him up.
Unfortunately we've had bad experiences with other groomers in the past where our dogs come out very anxious and traumatized.
She also always gives us great advice that is well received to make the process easier for him in the future as this is something he is still getting used to.

We’ve been taking our dogs to Elizabeth since she was at Scrub-a-Dub. Doggies always come out handsome, clean and smelling sweet! And I looove that they aren’t crated all day. It takes about an hour for their services ?? quick and easy!!

Look no further I promise you won’t regret it! I’m new to the dog world however I went to this place once and I loved it. My dog had no training and had never been in a collar, however they did amazing. He smelled sooooooo good and looked so cleaned. I moved to the other side of town and tried 3 other places and boy was I upset expecting the service I got here. Needless to say I’ll be driving 45 mins away because the customer service and service provided is unmatched. Their knowledgeable, friendly, patient, works in a timely manner, has great communication skills, provide top quality service & care and actually take pride in what they do. Elizabeth is amazing!! We absolutely loved our experience with her and the team. We look forward to continue and utilize her services for both my Australian Shepherd and Australian Cattle Dog.
They did an incredible job with both our fur babies! Availability to schedule was such a breeze and easy to work with, text to pick up, arrival, and departing of my fur babies all went smoothly. We love taking our dog here for baths. It has to have been almost 2-3 years now! They do a great job also trimming her nails, the fur on her paws, and rear. We always joke that she comes back to us 10 lbs lighter with all the de-shedding and fur brushed out. It’s fantastic. Communication is great and it’s always simple to schedule. A bonus for supporting a local business!

The Tailored Tail does an amazing job grooming my two English Cream Goldens.In the past I used mobile groomers but my dogs would get very stressed and did not want to go in the van. I think it was too loud inside.My dogs have no problem going into The Tailored Tail and don’t get stressed while being groomed.They always come out happy and looking great.

We have been using Tailored Tail since day one of owning our GoldenDoodle. They are extremely friendly, place is always clean, and best part they don’t believe in caging your animal. Highly recommend them.

Elizabeth has been grooming our 4 year old Sheepadoodle since he was a puppy. Her job isn’t easy - he’s usually not super cooperative, but she knows him and how to handle him. He always comes out smiling and looking great. He’s in and out in less than 2 hours, which I especially like. Unlike many groomers, Tailored Tail does not put dogs into crates to wait their turn to be groomed. If you’re looking for a talented groomer, I highly recommend them.

I have taken my dogs there since they have been in business and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my fur babies! I love the fact that they do not keep my dogs all day and they don't use cages to contain them because one of my dogs has car anxiety issues. They do a wonderful job, my three dogs always smell so clean and the nails trimmed perfectly. Before I found Tailored Tail, other places would butcher their nails and sometimes they would not be completely dry. Plus the bandanas are so cute!

My pomeranian weighs 6 LBS and is a very sweet quiet dog. Firstly, The Tailored Tail charged my credit card $185 for a cut and bath before I even approved the amount. This is unprofessional. They said they had my card on file and went ahead and ran it. That is unacceptable to me. They needed to ask my permission before running it . Maybe I wanted to use another card or wanted to ask WHY they charged that much money for a small dog. It is a complete outrage to charge that kind of money. I will never return.
