Stopped by The Detering Company for the first time yesterday with a unique trim piece. Both ladies up front and the gentlemen on the warehouse floor were incredibly polite and helpful. They've got an incredible amount of trim work available too.

I ordered 2 doors in Jan. One came in April, it's July and I still don't have it. The other was due in June. I call and email with little to no response. I wish I had never ordered my doors from this company. Getting an update is like pulling teeth. I have never seen a business care so little about a customer.

Ordered some doors and gave them the size that I needed and they told me they would give me a call before delivering, I had to call them to in order for them to deliver even after it was already scheduled. The delivery guys didn't call me until they showed up and also lied to my customer about size of doors, once I had seen the doors they were the wrong size and detering denied making new doors and taking responsibility for their mistake, and wanted to charge me for new doors. I will no longer do buisness with them as they can NOT be trusted.

Was really disappointed with The Detering Co. we ordered material on a cash account where the mark up is much higher and shipping is higher if you had an account. We were promised a am run and never got our order. Called the shipping manager to get a update status which he never did call back. So now I have to lose money because this company failed to do ship a product on time as promised.
