The best. My dog loves the day care and they do a great job with his grooming. Price is just right.

Grateful for the 35 pound and under limit and cage-free accommodations! My dog Reese loved daycare and had his first overnight with grooming which all went very well! I loved getting the photos and following along on Instagram. Reese was groomed by Alyssa while boarding, and she did an amazing job! Reese also had the opportunity to attend Theo's third birthday party- disco themed! The photos were professional and extremely fun! A downside that I have been nervous about is the parking. I have been concerned that the small lot may be full when I arrive, but I haven't yet had any issues with grabbing a spot. Overall - love The Best Little Dog House and am grateful for them taking such great care of my boy Reese!

They are a great place to board your small dog. No cages ever and the staff are always so friendly and seem to love their job. Also nice that you can add a wash or groom at the end of the dog’s stay.

The BEST place for my dog! My dog just hears the word "daycare" and gets so excited. If I tell him we're going tomorrow he will follow me around the whole morning making sure I know I promised he would go to daycare. lol. BLDH is someplace that I know they honestly care about your dogs (Scooter has some health issues and they will check up on him if he hasn't been in in a while just to see how he's doing). I love that I can trust them to make sure he's safe when he's boarded - he's not locked in a kennel all night alone and there is always someone there with the dogs. They have an inside play area and misters and a few cooling pads outside to make sure that they won't ever get overheated. I can't recommend them more!

Decent boarding, but not the best environment for my dogs. Reception is clunky and awkward. I arrived en-route to the airport and was told to go back home to get all of my dogs' medicine, food, and beds. (my dogs are not on any medicine). Not sure why I thought that food was covered and taken care of by the boarding, but apparently I was expected to bring all that with me. I also received some unsolicited advice from the manager, which was contrary to my veterinarian's advice. It's not a bad place, but be ready for a scolding and at least $50 a day. It is an inner-city dog boarding place, so please don't expect any big, grassy dog runs.

just now NEW I always felt anxious when leaving my dogs at a pet hotel but BLDHTX has been godsend . The staff is very efficient , always makes sure that their vaccines are current, great communication with pictures/videos of the pups on a daily basis while I'm away,. Also, worth noted is that someone is always onsite 24/7 to monitor the dogs. l use their services, such as boarding, day care . I love the cage-free concept, since my dog is used to sleeping in bed with me. My pup always comes home relaxed and happy, with no indications of any stress or anxiety that he used to have when we left him at other boarding places. I highly recommend BLDHTX as I think is the best doggie daycare/boarding place in Houston!

We absolutely love The Best Little Dog House! Our sweet baby Murdoch is a shy and nervous pup and we were initially unsure how she would handle a daycare/boarding facility. The team here immediately put us at ease! Every dog must undergo a 4 hour temperament test to ensure that each dog feels secure and safe prior to acceptance into daycare or boarding. The staff are so friendly and you can tell they absolutely love what they do. They have always been very accommodating to our pup’s needs and even give you comforting “update photos” while you are away for extended periods of time. Not to mention the adorable themed parties and photos that occur throughout the year!In addition to their daycare and boarding services, we have also taken advantage of their grooming team and couldn’t be happier! This facility has truly lived up to its name for our family! Your pup will thank you for putting them in the watchful care of The Best Little Dog House.

My dog has been going to BLDHTX for grooming for about 4 years now and I cannot tell you how great they are. I love that Hoot comes back always neat and looking his best.

My experience at BLDHTX was not great. As a boarding referral from our nearby vet, I was an enthusiastic walk-in with my happy and healthy 6-year/18-lb Cockapoo but was advised immediately: a) a 4-hour observation ($40 min) was required before boarding would be considered, and) I must open a BLDHTX account plus provide all shots proofs etc before the observation. This was all accomplished from my car in 20 minutes and I returned to have my obviously cheerful and playful dog ‘accepted’ for observation with a promise of a call after 4 hours. I returned to the building over 4 hours later to have the ‘back room’ staff transmit by intercom/open microphone to all in the waiting room that my dog appeared ‘anxious’ and that BLDHTX would not accept her for boarding due to ‘we don’t know what is going on for her at home.’ What a presumptuous shame! What are the educational and social credentials of these rude and underinformed people that they should broadcast such things? Would they care to ask or recognize that my dog is openly embraced as the ‘mascot’ and ‘greeter’ by the ENTIRE staffs at two banks and the high-rise we live in for her uncommon love of people and happy gentle demeanor? This was a misfire on several levels at BLDHTX and I share the experience as a hopefully helpful observation to others.
