I was severely dissatisfied with the service I received yesterday with the move. The movers arrived 30 minutes late, after I was confirmed between 2pm - 4pm (4:31 pm was their start time). Once arrived, their tools were not charged, and I offered my drills. As they took the beds apart, they asked me to keep track of nut/bolts. Once we left my home, they refused to take the toll road, even though I was told they would when I made the reservation. They did not know how to put my couch back together, the bed was left not put together, the wall paint was scuffed, and they used the restroom without flushing the toilet. All the while, they finished at 9:48 pm and said I had to pay an extra 30 minutes because they said that your company would charge them the extra time, and they had to pay out of pocket. They also, left wrapping paper in the halls, apartment, and blue tarp in my house. Once I mentioned I was wanting to speak to a manager they suddenly changed their mind, and said they would charge the original amount. I find that to be odd. Here a few pictures that I have. I am not home but can get a picture of the tarp. Spoke to Russell only to be told nothing can be done.

This company is a scam. Do NOT SIGN ANYTHING. They add on ridiculous charges then hold your items for ransom. They are from the Ukraine and operate under false identities.

NEVER SHOWED UP TO SCHEDULED MOVE!!! Literally left in boxes after not showing up and they couldn’t care less to make other arrangements. They kept rescheduling from my original time- First it was 12 pm then 3 pm then 6 pm to not showing up all together!! Very unprofessional business and poor communication.

This company can’t be trusted. They give you a quote or estimate. Which was acceptable however when they come to do the job there is all these other charges that they don’t tell you about. Throwing in random amount of travel hours and all the sudden heavy moving fees when we had already listed the items to be moved and were told the estimate covered everything. This is a scam of the worst sort. They hold your belongings hostage for the up charges. It is disgusting that a company would resort to such low tactics when dealing with their customers. I will definitely tell anyone not to use the company!!!!! The old saying buyer beware is their motto!!!!Janet Cameron3-26-2024

In my 64 years, this was absolutely the worst moving experience ever!! My step daughter was given a quote on Saturday from $365 to $500 to move her and her family's three bedroom townhouse to a house less than a mile away. We agreed with the pricing and two movers showed up in a U-haul truck Sunday morning. This is a typical three bedroom house, beds, dressers, washer, dryer, sofa and other smaller items. They loaded the truck in less than three hours. Drove about half a mile to the new house. This is when the worst experience happens. My son-in-law signed a blank contract at the old house before they began. When they arrived at the new house, the contract was filled out and the grand total was over $1,700. The pricing was ridiculous to say the least. We were charged over $500 in materials, $600 for three heavy pieces and 7.5 hours of labor, which took only 4 hours to load and unload the truck. They held my family's furnishing hostage for one and a half hours until we finally paid $1,500 by money order. Texas Movers LLC is a total scam and ripped us off for an excessive amount of money. I will be taking them to court and notifying the Better Business Bureau! Will be writing a negative review wherever possible!! Dominique was the manager I spoke to several times and he was a very unreasonable man! He only reduced the total by $200.

Where to even begin?! We’ve used Texans movers a total of 3 times now for moving and packing services. Every time they have been professional and QUICK!!!! Vanessa is amazing and works with you to get your move scheduled promptly. The ladies who do the packing are so thorough. This time we moved across Texas. The crew was happy to load our storage unit and remaining items at the house and drive across the great state. They moved so efficiently we came in under our original estimated budget which was a welcome surprise. I think the icing on the cake was when they offered to put together our beds and baby crib - after a long day/night of travel with 3 kids it was a welcome gift to have a fully made bed to sleep in that night! We will continue to use and recommend Texans movers to all of our friends and family. Cannot say enough good things. They truly took the stress out of the move and made it an enjoyable experience!

Texans Movers were great! I had called around for quotes and theirs by far was the most reasonable one I got. They were transparent about all pricing and what they thought I needed in terms of movers. They were punctual and exceeded my expectations. The crew was very professional and took care of all my boxes/ furniture as if it was their own. My old apartment was on the third floor and they handled all the stairs with ease. My two big, flatscreen tvs were carefully wrapped and got to my new place without any trouble. So glad that I went with this company and will definitely use them again.

I was rather disappointed in our move this weekend. We used this company for our move in 2017 and everything was great, which is why we used them again. I have very mixed feelings about this move. For one, I believe they should have had a bigger truck and should have only had to make one trip, thus not having to have such a long time of 8.25 hours at the hourly rate. Also, for a 2100+ sf home, I thought there may be more workers. My son and daughter-in-law used them about a month ago for a very small move, but they had a crew of five move them in a very short time. I feel that there should've probably been a crew of at least four. Not knowing what to request, I reached out to the "experts" at Texans Movers for direction on what we needed. I told the rep the square footage of our home, how many bedrooms and baths and what all we needed moved and she advised me on a 3-person crew but did not stipulate the truck size and the truck should have been bigger. That would have only taken one trip rather than paying $1300+ for this move. I looked to the company to advise me and that was a mistake.Although the crew was very nice, and I could tell they were hard workers, they did not put together one of our beds, and we didn't even end up having them move everything because we didn't want to keep paying for more and more time. I am disappointed this experience wasn't like our experience before. I believe I gave them a 5 star review last time which is why I gave them a fair score this time based on this move.
