I'd give this dealership 0 stars if it were possible. I dropped my car off after someone attempted to steal it on May 25. The request was for recall repairs, and I was lead to believe that those complimentary recall repairs included making any repairs related to that attempted theft. I was wrong. There is a visible blue wire hanging from the steering column that is a result of the attempted theft. I say is because today, September 12, months later, that wire is still visible. One may think that an auto dealership repair shop servicing cars that everyone tried to steal for the last couple of years would first address the obvious physical damage to the car. You would be wrong. Instead, because the car won't start to be attached to the machine that runs diagnostics, they deceived us into replacing the battery. I say deceived because when told we needed a battery the service manager said "the car still won't start" which made me assume they'd reconnected the wire. I asked them to save the battery because it's less than a 1 year old, still under warranty, and we wanted to attempt to make a warranty claim. I also asked if they tested the battery and they said yes. This conversation happened in June. In July I received another call from this dealership, this time saying the car still would not start and saying this time it needs a starter. It was at this time that I learned that they have not started the recall repairs, have not attached the wire, and also threw out our working battery. We asked if changing the starter, for over $800, would guarantee the car would work and they said they didn't know because they cannot perform the diagnostics because it won't start. Now I am no expert, but I wouldn't expect a car with a disconnected visible wire that clearly comes from somewhere to start. It seems this service department lacks that common sense. I escalated this to Hyundai's national support line to no avail. My only conclusion is don't buy a Hyundai, and if you do, definitely do not take it to these people for service.

I chose Steel South Loop Hyundai because there are more positive feedbacks than other car service centers. I went there for my routine car maintenance. True enough, Mr. Armando was very attentive and helpful. He was the one who tended to my car.

Sam was a great salesman. We had a heated discussion in the beginning because of the add on fees, and then being told the car was sold when we weren't just agreeing with the add-on fees and going with it. Finally got them to accept a deposit on the car and put $500 down on my American Express. Signed it a certain way that offended Miranda who was reviewing the receipts. This is business, not feelings. So yeah, they refunded my deposit and I had to go do business elsewhere.

My vehicle has been getting “repaired” for over 6 months and counting. Not only do they employ deceitful tactics, they also charge an arm and a leg for it.
I initially took my vehicle here because I had an issue with the transmission. Mark told me it was external damage until I called up my insurance and then he changed his response and said it was internal damage and that he would initiate a claim with their warranty department. After a month of trying to get a hold of people and getting the run around, they provided a loaner. After 3 months of me hounding for updates, they said the warranty would only cover a percentage. Different department I understand, however, the service department at Steele would take forever to reply to the warranty department and to myself. They would delay the work as much as possible. At month 5, I was informed there was a “wiring” issue with the vehicle which would have an additional cost and more time.
After month 5 I have begun to negotiate a sale to the dealership (because waiting this long for a vehicle is absurd) and after settling on a deal, the service department “found more damage” to the vehicle. This meant that the out of pocket cost increased and they backed off the deal until they knew more of what the cost is.
Here I am at month 6 with no vehicle, no loaner, and no direction for costs. I have also worked with two service managers; Roy and now Doug. Avoid this place unless you don’t care about your money.

The worst service i have ever received. They have had my car for over two weeks at this point. I’ve called countless times and they did not even bother to put my information in the system multiple times. Just had my car sitting there. They never answer the phone or call you back. Don’t provide any updates. My car was supposed to be ready yesterday after me finally getting ahold of someone. Do you think it was ready? Nope. Did they give me a call to let me know anything? Nope. Have they even started on it? Who knows. Completely unacceptable to be without my car for two weeks over a transmission cable replacement. And for them to have my car sitting there for over a week because they claimed to not know who’s car it was even after i called and spoke to someone TWICE with my information, is crazy! What type of systems are in place for that to happen. Did they write it down on a napkin and throw it away? Would not recomend at all!

Fast easy in and out will recommend Jaye, and finance manager (R Jimenez). Both were easy to work with and no pushy sales tactics.

If I could give zero stars I would. All it took was one visit for me to never visit this dealership again. How does it take 2 hours for an oil change when your the first vehicle in at 7am?!? Then you don't completely tighten back parts and components on the vehicle so they just drag the ground or start to leak. Also something like tire weights magically fall off once you get a rotation but prior to the service they were just fine. Now it's up to you to cover the cost for the service when you have touched the wheels. Go to a tire shop they have never heard of them magically falling off. Stay far away from this place if you value you vehicle and your time!!

Kevin and manager Juan helped finding the exact model I was looking for and got me a great deal. Also floor mat wasnt included in the vehicle but Kevin was graciously able to get me one as complimentary. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful throughout the whole process. Highly recommended

This dealership held my car for nearly three months to fix a door handle. They would not answer my calls or return my voicemails so several times I had to go in person to check on my car. I was also accused of lying because when I finally got the car back the gas door was broken and I was told to bring it back in when I could so they could fix it. Upon my return, my service advisor accused me of lying, suggesting that I broke the gas door and brought it back expecting them to fix it for free, telling me they would not fix it because my previous service advisor no longer worked at this location. The customer service with that specific advisor was very unprofessional. When they did eventually fix the gas door, as they said they would, the car was returned with dents surrounding the gas door. After all of this and a change of management, I believe the service has improved and I have been relatively well taken care of aside from the fact that now when I call the number for this dealership I still cannot get a hold of anyone in the service department because there is no option to reach that department, only sales.
I am really enjoying my Genesis and am in the market for a new car, however I will not be purchasing from this dealership again simply because of the service I have experienced.
I am rating two stars instead of one because of the people that have helped me here after witnessing first hand how I was treated. They have been personable and respectful and I deeply appreciate it.

Won't recommend. Very unprofessional. Got a new Elantra car wasn't cleaned, and gas tank completely empty, 6 months and still didn't get a metal plate, when I asked for the plate no one knows and they won't issue another paper tag. Stay away from this dealership
There are many other good places to get a car

Please do not go to this dealership
They are liar and they will sell you cars that are really bad. The car I got keep having engine problems and the light is coming on the car. I have been in their service like many times. The car keep having issue. The manager do not care. They want to put your credit card on files so that they will charge you for washing loaner cars.
Take the cars to a mechanic. Do not trust what they said. The manager and the service attendee left me in the place without saying they were leaving while I was waiting for them. Either sales department or service , the place is really not professional at all.
