This was my first time going here, and it’s my new go to nail salon! My husband and I visited to get pedicures done, the lady named Nancy did a great job on my husband’s toenails! She is an awesome person! Thank you we will be coming back

i have been coming to silk nails for YEARS. what originally got me hooked was the pedicure service with the oranges. their pedicurists are very good and do a very good job. pedicures here are my favorite thing to come get to relax after a stressful week. i regularly come here to get gel mani and pedi french tip. their employees are all very kind and helpful. i used to get acrylic but switched to gel per my desire to have a more healthy nail bed. my nails since have been so much better. another thing i appreciate is that my nails LAST. my gel nails last me forever. i normally come after 3-4 weeks for my nails which is very good. i love a classic french tip and finding this place to get it just the way i like it has been so nice! i personally see Jessica, she’s very fine tuned to detail and does an incredible job but they’re all very good and have their own style! definitely recommend coming, but i recommend calling for an appointment! love my silk nails fam! my whole family comes here to get their services, worth every penny!

I just moved into the area and was having a hard time finding a nail spot. Loved how friendly all the employees were. They made me feel very comfortable. I had a gel pedicure and nails done everything came out perfect. Very affordable. They are very clean. I’m so glad I found my new forever nail spot.

I went in to get a full set and it was the worse experience ever. When I was sat in the chair to have my nails done, the nail tech just got up and left to a computer and stated she was trying to check out, there was items in her cart etc. I asked her if she could please come back to do my nails, she stated “oh it’s fine it will only take 45 minutes”. Finally she comes back and begins working on my nails, but leaves after gluing 3 tips back to the computer because she wanted to check her wait time on the items she had in cart. Well her hurry was over some item that was just released and did not want to loose her place in line. Then a whole conversation about some other lady’s mom coming back to the shop, (guessing the owner) and how they were not ready for her to be back. Very disappointed with the treatment received today. I will definitely not be going back, and to think it was my first time.

Not my 1st time here , but I am not pleased with today’s visit.
Didn’t realize till I got home , that the lady didn’t rinse the scrub off my feet and put lotion (Got just a normal pedicure) I was talking with the lady next to me so honestly was not paying attention to the steps she took.
My husband said I was there to relax.
The lady who did my feet was running between customers and I was not happy about that , if they needed me to just wait my turn I would have done so I feel I did not get the full pedicure experience because she forgot to rinse the scrub off and put lotions.
Will probably not come back.

Customer service needs to improve! I came in for a pedicure and dip. I don't understand why the nail technician didn't start soaking my nails while I was getting my pedicure to make a good use of time and considering she didn't have any other customers. When my pedicure was done and I was in the nail technician's chair, she started removing my initial nail polish. She stopped in the middle of doing my second hand and had me move a few chairs over without an explanation. Then she just started on another customer. I was upset but a few minutes later a person came in from outside and took off my remaining polish and got my nails soaking. Imagine my surprise when she then left...no explanation again. Only when my original technician finished with the person I was moved for, she came to me to ask about my dip color choices. At that point I had no desire to spend any more money at a place that basic customer service and courtesy is not extended to me.

I got a pedi here and it was SO gentle! It was very relaxing and my tech (don't remember her name) was very sweet and quiet. As an introvert. I really appreciated that. She was quite skillful and I would give my experience a 10/10! Very clean, modern equipment, friendly service from start to finish.

I have been here multiple times since it’s opened and it’s usually an okay experience. The two owners (I think Mary and Melissa) are pretty nice and if you’re lucky to get them, then you’re probably good.
But today I had a gentleman do my pedicure and he dug so hard with the cuticle clippers, it bled under the skin. He was oblivious to my concerns and I switched my pedicure from the deluxe (with the paraffin wax) to regular because I didn’t want hot wax getting into an injured area. He seemed upset after this, finished painting my toenails and didn’t even bother helping me put my slides on or moving to the nail station to get my nails done.
Melissa did my dip nails (she answers the phone often, I think she is a part owner) -she is was pretty good but there is a defect with one nail that I didn’t feel like saying anything about after the pedicure. I just wanted it to be done and over with.
The time I had been there before, a nail tech left ton of bubbles and a black speck on my very pail shellac manicure. When I started pointing it out, she said it would be fine when it dried.
It did not look fine. It was so bad, after I left I looked at it as it settled and then went back. Mary was really nice and redid them for me herself.
So they are decent about making things right but they shouldn’t have to in the first place. Not to mention that today one of the nail techs was coughing so bad (as she did someone else’s manicure), she got up several times to go cough in the back.
These services are not cheap. We pay for a quality experience. Not only do I not want to be injured or get sick, the experience overall was just sub-par. There are plenty of nail salons in the area and I will be looking for another one. Very disappointed as it seems there has been a definite decline and I’ve been a patron since the beginning.

Lanny is awesome!! On my way to the airport and my nail broke. Searched Yelp and found this place. Clean, kind and great service!! Highly recommend.
