She is phenomenal! We've filed our 1120S and personal 1040s with her for 3 years now. Even though she has a life and troubles of her own, she takes care of my business thoroughly. All through 2020 (a scary and confusing year) she was sending all her clients speedy updates about government assistance and the different pitfalls of loans to apply to. Outside of the pandemic, I had lots of questions about retirement accounts and tax forms to use for our nanny and she responds so quickly. My little business doesn't make crazy money, but her fee is well worth her service and the peace of mind!P.S. My mortgage banker was very impressed with her paperwork too.

I cannot rate Kimberly of Shockley Tax Advisory strongly ENOUGH. If there were 10 Google stars... she would get them. In dealing with our complex tax issues, Kimberly made everything clear, succinct, and do- able. No question on our part too small, too inexperienced or mundane. Kimberly was trustworthy, professional and thorough in her dealings with us from start to finish. What a joy to have such an expert CPA to rely on. We will be on her book of business for MANY years to come.

Beware of this scammer company, it's the worst experience I've had ever! Simply make false accusations, poor communications, not honest, doesn't follow instructions, poor understanding skills, slow response rate. I wish I could give this zero stars!

I recently hired Shockley Tax Advisory to help me with an issue in the state of Texas. I own a small company (15 employees) and the State of Texas claimed we owed $180,000. Since we had one employee in the state for a short amount of time, we knew the bill was way off base. After a recommendation, I hired Shockley Tax Advisory. I was able to speak with Kimberly Shockley personally about our issue. From the first phone call to the completion of the work, Kimberly was knowledgable, professional, and on top of the case. Kimberly solved a 7 year old issue within 5 weeks. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone in or out of Texas.

Watch out, Ms. Shockley won't give you her price up front but she will ask to see your taxes so she can "see what's all involved" and then she'll complete and file them and then send you an invoice for $500. Very shady way of doing business. I quickly took my business elsewhere.

This year being my first as an independent contractor, I was pretty confused by some of the new filings and changes I had to learn about. My tax situation has become very complex. I researched and asked friends and family for recommendations for a CPA. Several suggested I make a consultation appointment with Kimberly at Shockley Tax Advisory. I'm glad I did. Competent, easy to understand, explains tax mumbo jumbo in a way I can understand. She's versed in both personal and corporate tax matters. She's my now my go-to CPA.
