On the morning of May 17, I visited this Shell station to redeem $16 worth of lottery tickets and purchase additional tickets using the winnings. I politely handed my tickets to the cashier, who checked them and confirmed the total was $16. She then handed me a $10 bill that was torn in half and taped together.
I respectfully asked for a replacement bill, but instead of helping, the cashier became extremely rude and disrespectful. She refused to replace the bill, said she couldn’t open the register, and when I asked to speak to the manager, she harshly said he was out of town.
When I said I’d use the $16 to buy more tickets, she told me to leave the store and threatened to call the police. Her behavior was aggressive, condescending, and discriminatory. She made insulting comments about the value of $10 and treated me like I didn’t belong there.
As a customer, I felt humiliated over such a minor issue. I could have called the police myself, as everything is on camera, but I didn’t want to waste my family’s time on a Saturday trip. I left disappointed, and I now understand from other reviews that I’m not the first to experience rude service at this location.
I’ll no longer visit Shell stations and will take my business to other companies like Exxon. If the taped $10 bill turns out to be counterfeit, I will escalate this matter legally. We live in a country governed by laws and respect, not hostility and discrimination.

Very rude female employee. I was in actual shock at my experience at this gas station. I said I wanted to buy cigarettes and she immediately got hostile and said “is this is for you or someone else in the car I’m not gonna sell it to you if someone else comes inside” insinuating that I don’t have an ID or was going to send someone else. Assuming she’s got in trouble for not checking IDS so now she is hostile and unhinged. She needs a serious lesson in customer service but what can you expect from a gas station worker… sheesh

Much has improved to this location it's on 45N and Crosstimbers. Unlike the Murphy USA down the street they have better attitudes and the store was clean. There was people outside but they seem to be waiting for rides or the bus trying to get out of the sun. The cashier was very nice and her attitude was professional. There was another employee working on paperwork but once she seen the line starting she immediately came to help get people waited on. This store has improved since my last visit and unlike the other shell locations I didn't see any slot machines at this one. They do have an ATM and sell a bunch of different things like drinks , cigarettes and lotto.

Homeless homeless living on the property because of their people. Block the door, and always in front of the door and stain everywhere. This places don't think about their customer. It homeless they think about. Watch your surroundings. They walk around the area.

8-8-23If you have kids or you are with your family, this is not a place to stop unless you have to. Too many people standing outside the store selling stuff and smoking and the cashier was rude her eyes were super red. Maybe the company needs to test all the employees and clean that place up.
