If you need it, they most likely will have it. Pricing is great. No need to go to a box store. Check out could be a bit more friendly.

Aside from all of the fun treasures they have here the customer service we experienced was great. The owner was so nice and inviting and even showed us her dog. She’s knows Spanish which is a plus.

The staff here were very helpful and I'm really pleased how things turned out. I needed new pulls for a mid-century dresser and wanted something with a little character. They took the time to measure a handle I brought in before showing me different hardware. I had straight bar pulls but decided to go with something thing more decorative which gave the furniture a whole new look! I read some of the negative reviews before posting this and unless you're looking to find faults, you will have a perfectly fine experience at this nice store. As for pricing, it's all relative. I was happy with everything.

Horrible and rude customer service, no greeting and when I told the sales woman what I was looking for she actually rolled her eyes at me for not exactly what I wanted. The only reason I imagine they are still in business is charging $20+ per cabinet pull.

We visited the store this past weekend. We were greeted by very friendly dogs but let me say this is all that is friendly in this store. The owner of this store is very rude and degrading. My husband and I ignored a few rude comments but the last one that she made was the final one. I will never enter this store again and will not recommend it to anyone. Not only do you have to deal with a rude owner but the prices are outrageous. Without even knowing the customer she assumes you are a dumbass and she talks to you as if you are one. It is very obvious that she is sick, but it still does not give her the right to be rude. In my opinion, it is time for this owner and her assistant to retire, both of them have lost their customer service skills.

What a joke. So Texas junk goes out of business. As well as a load more Awsome. I go to this place for the first time. 1. Must be a multi billionaire or out of your mind to get anyone to help you. (FYI everything in glass cabinets) 2. Wow they have some cool accents. Sorry folks don't work. The price will blow you into next week. FOR EVERYTHING. For instance a knob that you would attach to a cabinet, from the 60,s anywhere else would be maybe 10$ at most. For 1knob. They wanted 45$ for one plastic and metal knob. Maybe 1in wide. 3. The moment I walked in the door you feel like all eyes on you. Yet no one will help. Maybe I'm just used to southern hospitality.

I went to Settler's Hardware this morning at the suggestion of my decorator. I was ready to buy and fill my entire shopping list. What a mistake. The older lady there was so incredibly rude that I was shocked and simply had no words. She went out of her way to embarrass me. If there had been other customers in the store, I would have called her out. I assume because I didn't use what she felt were the absolutely correct terms to describe her knobs and pulls, she chose to act as if she had no idea what I was talking about. She didn't even ask any clarifying questions, she just said she didn't know what I was talking about. I know I said the words "door knob". Look, lady-- you sell hardware for furniture, doors etc and have a great deal of expertise in this incredibly limited universe. How many terms are there for a door knob? I will never return and will tell everyone else about my experience. It should not take a secret de-coder ring to purchase something from this business.

Absolutely the finest comprehensive collection of vintage-antique hardware. Don't waste your time any where else (like I did!) I wasted money and time ordering items from online websites when I could have just made one run to this store.

Finally found some one-of-a-kind pieces that I had searched high & low for, and hadn't seen anywhere else. So glad I found this place! Looks like they have a website now; I hope they start selling items online so I don't have to keep driving all the way to Houston to see what new items pop up.

It driver me crazy that they don't have a web site!!! It's 2013..... Who doesn't have a web site!!?? When I am looking for items that they may carry I can't look on the site to see if it is there or not. Also, I own an upholstery shop, and They are not an upholstery shop. They only sell hardware that you can order out of a catalog.
