I love the store but the lady’s who works at the cafe they have horrible attitude and if you don’t speak Spanish they get mad at you or if you make a big order !! Very bad service
I hate to go to a different Sam's club because this one next to my house but now I have to so I won’t deal with their attitude

I ordered a cake for my son’s first birthday party through the Sam’s Club website from this location’s bakery. I didn’t ask for anything complicated. Literally just a light green, two tier cake. That’s all. No decorations, no layer edging, no words, nothing. Just a green cake. My dad arrived to pick up the cake and at first they told him they didn’t have it… Panic ensued for a while before they found the cake with my name on it. Except it wasn’t what I had ordered. It was a white two tier with colored border frosting, and boy was it frosted TERRIBLY.. At that point my dad was now running behind, so he just left with the mess they’d given him. We were able to salvage it with a spatula and some tears of frustration when it arrived at the party, but I am so disappointed in Sam’s. We have purchased so many cakes from here and never had a problem, but this one was really important, and was really messed up. I tried to call and reach a manager, but wasn’t able to get through. Finally decided to leave a review here after 3 attempts.

I came In today and ordered from their hot food department. It was right before closing so I was informed to order before I used the ladies room . I ordered and asked them gentleman that checked me out if I can leave the food with him before proceding to the ladies room . He said that was fine and he would watch it . When I returned they had thrown my food away.

Assistant Manager Kelly and team; racially profiled me. Was trying to buy multiple gift cards for a Disney family trip. They change from policy to policy twice. When asked can I see this policy, they stated it’s on the website. When I pulled up their website they then changed it to its internal. And. I will not show you our internal policy. I asked how can that be internal if it deals with a customer transaction. If it is a store policy, it should be written somewhere. Rudely just cut me off and wanted to lecture me about credit. Stating I can’t buy credit with credit. I said this is not how that works this is a gift card. If it makes you feel comfortable I can go buy one outside come back and show you. To then she just said she’s denying me service because she doesn’t want to sell it to me. Which I said then say that’s what it is, instead of hiding behind a fake policy. She tried to escort me out, before I said hey I’ve been compliant with everything you said. I haven’t been disrespectful.
I offered my identification and as they requested.
I even offered another card with my name.
I even offered to display my bank account. I said we can do a small transaction and I can show you this is linked to me.
I offered to show her that I can buy a gift card with a credit card (I do it all the time for my employees)
I did everything to make them feel comfortable with it.
I even offered to apply for the Sam’s club credit card and purchase it that way. She still denied that.
The ugly part, Kelly and team just saw a brown guy in showers and a basketball jersey. Trying to buy a high amount of for a Disney gift cards for a trip. Then wanted to play the card like I’m ignorant and doesn’t know how money worked.
Terrible experience.
Update: which I hope Ms. Kelly see’s this. But I went to another Sam’s club, and did exactly what I tried to do here. Zero problem! Sad thing was, I’m pretty sure it was me being profiled. Since the Sam’s Club I went too, serves a dominantly hispanic area. S/O Antonio for putting the customer first, making it hassle free, and helping me save on a family Disney trip!
Also that company policy Kelly spoke of, like I thought didn’t exist. It was more to keep me from buying. I hope Walmart does she reach out to her. Teach her and the team not to profile. Other manager did try to help, and state we just have to be careful. Which once again I worked retail, I get it. But I offered you everything to make it comfortable.
