i have been a loyal customer for the past 20 years. they no longer care about the well being of your animals feel you are "privileged" to be their customer ! the ongoing turnover of the front office staff as well of the revolving door of their veterinarians who you NEVER have a consistent relationship with clearly depicts an environment that is focused on profits over than the care of your animals. If you are 10 minutes late for your appointment; they charge you an additional charge. however, in the last 12 months i have had to wait 20 -30 minutes after my scheduled appointment to see some new vet who knows nothing about my animal. Should u hate your animal and could less about their well being; Village Veterinary clinic in Hedwig Village iS the BEST PLACE take your animals !

brought my dog there because he limps on his back leg. after almost $600 and several vets looking at his X-rays they weren't sure if it was his knee or something more so the referred me to gulf coast vet. They put him on painkillers. so, after a year of me getting these meds they send me a couple emails saying it's time for his shots. I email them and say I had a breeder come and give him the shots since his leg is hurting I try not to haul him around. they say ok just send in the records. At the same time I order his painkillers, he's on 2. they refuse his meds saying they haven't seen him for a while. they didn't say anything about he needed a office visit to continue his medication and could have said I'll give him a 1 month prescription but I need to see him before I give you any more meds. what kind of vet would just stop a dogs pain meds without notice of needing a office visit? one that cares about money instead of the pet. So I brought him into another vet and got his meds. I would never go back to a vet that can't communicate and would leave a dog in pain.

I had a fantastic experience at Village veterinary clinic! The staff was friendly and caring, making both me and my pet feel at ease. The facility was clean and well-maintained. They provided thorough explanations and treatment options, ensuring my pet received the best care possible. I'm grateful for their compassionate service and would highly recommend this clinic to all pet owners!

I brought my dog here because he had been throwing up excessively and was extremely lethargic. They did an exam, X-rays and bloodwork and charged me almost $600. The found nothing, never mind that he was showing signs of pancreatitis. He was going between feeling good then bad. I took him to a different vet a few weeks later. They tested him for pancreatitis and then diabetes. He was positive for both. Pancreatitis can be deadly and causes diabetes. We will never know if they had caught it if that would have prevented the diabetes. Now my dog is on insulin and other medications. How do you take a dog in with dramatic symptoms, have all these expensive things done and find nothing to a few weeks later my dog being deathly ill? Everything I researched told me if my dog was vomiting over and over and feeling lethargic to get him to a vet. Too bad no one told this vet something was wrong. Careless and so potentially dangerous. I would never take my pets here again. My dog could have died and they have $600 I could have paid for my dog's insulin that he now has to take for the rest of his shortened life. I really regret going here because I love my dog so much and they don't care about him at all.

I wanted to share my feedback as I am experiencing a very genuine sense of disappointment. Being an Aggie (a Texas A&M graduate), I was happy to discover the Village Veterinary Clinic had numerous Aggie Doctors at the clinic. I assumed that, if nothing else, I would have an honest, honorable experience. After initially treating our dog Max for in excess of $2,000, I was happy with the outcome. Unfortunately he had a relapse with the infection which we discovered early on a Saturday morning. We called the clinic to see if we could get him in that day. We were told that they were very busy and couldn't fit him in. We were disappointed but understood. So, we asked if we could just pick up a refill of his antibiotic that had worked so well in his initial treatment. We were told that they would run it by the doctor and call us back. After several hours we had not received a call so we called again. Again we were told that they would run it by the doctor. The clinic closed that day without us ever receiving so much as a phone call to say yes or no to the refill. We ended up taking him to an emergency clinic and started all over with a new doctor and another Consultation fee. I am now left with the feeling that this clinic is about the money grab and doesn't really care about the well being of it's patients. Thoroughly disappointing for a bunch of Aggies. Roy '83

Let's just say their billing is s**** They don't charge on the same day you receive service. Only person worth it there is Dr Landry. They don't tell you price changes, charge for prescription food and never received it. Again their billing dept is s***

The moment I contacted this place, I was greeted with the upmost care and kindness. The entire team is knowledgeable, friendly, and compassionate about the pets walking in. Dr. Miller didn't mind me calling 18384 times to ask questions-- he was patient and very understanding of my concerns. They also worked with me to make my bill a bit more manageable. Needless to say, this will be our new go-to vet. I am beyond grateful for the care we received here & couldn't recommend it more. Lucy says thank you!

I called to request an appointment because my dog was limping and they were able to see us the same-day-- such a relief! From the greeting to the goodbye, Dr. Walsh and her staff are incredible. They made me and my dog feel so comfortable and welcome. I initially decided to go here based on the 5 star reviews and Village Veterinary Clinic exceeded my expectations!!

Everyone is so friendly! From the receptionist, to the vet techs, to the veterinarians! They are all amazing. We have seen multiple doctors and don't have a complaint about any of them. We recently saw Dr. Miller and he went above and beyond to make sure our dog gets everything she needs. Best vet clinic around!

My poor pup had a nasty ear infection and was nearly scratching his whole ear off. Village veterinary clinic saw me within 30 minutes of my initial phone call without being a previous customer even though they were busy with their daily schedule. I was thankful that they accommodated me on such a short notice but more importantly it was the love and care they gave Buzz when we both arrived. The administrative staff, nurse, and doctor were all very friendly and professional and I couldn't have been happier with my visit. After just moving to Houston, I found a place where I don't have to stress about my dogs health, knowing he's in good hands. Thank you Village Vet clinic and a special thanks to our nurse Ashley

I recommend this practice if visiting Dr. Landry or Dr. Miller. We recently visited with Dr. Rachel Walsh and our bill came out to $645 for a stomach bug. Ridiculous. I was aware that $300 was for X-RAYS and blood work, but nothing else was discussed. There was also an unnecessary fecal exam, that she kindly refunded me on. Last, he was sent home with two different pills, which I did not take home. I didn't understand why she would give him a shot, and then a box of (4) pills of the same "shot" to take home. It would have more cost effective if she gave him one of the pills so I wasn't paying for the same thing twice. There were two separate medicines she did this with. She was very kind, but not a doctor I would personally recommend.

Dr Miller and his associates are the most caring group of vetinarians in Houston. We have had many pets over 20 years cared for by this team of professionals and could not ask for better. You can put your pet totally in their care with complete confidence. Highly recommended!
