I would give this place less stars if I could.
And I’m truly so sad about that
I’ve never been spoken to so unkindly or told that I’m a liar before by somebody on the phone.
The staff was truly unprofessional and it really bums me out when this is supposed to be establishment that does good for the community.
If you’re hoping to donate some furniture to a good cause or even with kind people, I would look elsewhere

I went to Salvation Army in 1998 and going there saved my life. Now referring a friend to go. God is good. All the time.

Took my brother and they accepted him with open arms. Had mass with the whole group and it was amazing. The vibe is pure joy and gratefulness. I am so happy I found this organization!

This place is awesome. It changed my life, I would still be there if not for underlying medical issues. Houston's best kept secret.

Love this place. It truly saved my life. I'm not so bold as to say I figured it out the first time. But after a couple tries. I was truly humbled and learned that through positive routines, good people in my life and doing the next right thing with God's help i am able to maintain a happy, healthy and prosperous life! Thank you to Mrs. Dora, Bear, Tony T, and Carl...they loved me until I learned to love myself again. I will be forever on their debt and will remain in gratitude for their help and support. 14 months and 2 weeks sober and counting. God is good all the time!

Kicked people out that were there for real help to bring in a disaster relief team just to make sure they get some government money. What a joke!

There's no doubt the ARC saved my life! When life happens our circumstances can become extremely dark. I turned to drugs and alcohol, and I was a lost soul. I'm so proud to be an alumni of the Salvation Army ARC. This is my family, and their mission is always on my mind. God is good, and it's ALL THE TIME!!!!!!!
