Let’s do this! So I’m going going to speak facts here because this company likes to come back and insult their customers. Read the negative reviews you’ll see there is factual information that everybody reports.I did my research with my insurance company before I purchased the scooter. When I walked in, Daniel I believe his name is, introduced himself, and was very friendly and willing to help. I purchased the scooter off the floor and he offered to submit the documents to our insurance company. I waited three months and followed up many times. He refused to take my calls. The lady sitting in the desk next to him continued to tell me he wasn’t in the office. And if I wanted to speak with him, I would need to go up there in person.Fine you want me in person you got me. I proceeded to call the office as I sat in front of the store, seeing him sitting next to her as she stated, yet again, he’s not there. I walked in, and he greeted me not knowing who I was, I ask him about a scooter. I pulled out my receipt and said I’d like to talk about the scooter I already purchased from you. I asked him why he chose to ignore the calls from my insurance company and me. He didn’t answer that question. So I called my insurance company in front of him.He tried to leave the desk and I asked him if he was trying to run away again. He said he would be right back. He didn’t come back. Not surprised. So we handled the information with the girl who normally answers the phone.It gets better come to find out. They submitted the receipt for my scooter for a lesser amount, stating that it had upgrades, which was not true. Then stated we can’t submit it for the amount you paid because your husband isn’t large enough for the scooter so your insurance won’t accept it. That wasn’t true. Again I did my research I know what my insurance will pay.Long story short, they submitted wrong amount and requested for the payment. Not only did they receive my payment for the full amount but then they received my refund. Yes, they took my money and my insurance refund check! I would call that insurance fraud!At the end of the day, and almost 6 months later, I finally received my full amount refund from my insurance company. Yes, the full amount.Now they can respond and come at me sideways. Because that’s the type of “professional” business they run, but everything I put here is 100% correct.

I recently ordered compression stockings from Safeway, my first time ordering from this medical supply. Unbeknownst to me, the stockings were back ordered. After my attempts to contact Safeway, Teresa called me and was extremely accommodating and pleasant to work with. She worked with me for a replacement and kept me up to date via text message on the shipping progress. While I was initially unsure about my purchase, Teresa won me over, and I will order from Safeway Medical Supply again.

My doctor sent an order over for a mobility scooter. I've been dealing with them for over a month trying to get the insurance auth through. Doctor sends them info they claim they don't get it, but doctor has confirmation it was sent. My insurance changes in less than 60 days, and Safeway could care less and won't do anything to help me!

i called in today looking for information on power chair for my father, the young lady Amber helped so well. She was patient and gave us some very useful information. Sent us some pictures of chairs and scooters as options. We’re hoping to make a decision soon and come to see your show room she said you all have quite a selection. I very much appreciated this company’s willingness and professionalism in resolving an issue with the delivery of my order. It is understood that not all orders go as smoothly as expected and when notified, Safeway, in particular, Vern, remedied the situation to my satisfaction… not all companies would do so and I appreciated it very much. Terrible service. My sister has been calling for the last two weeks to order a wheel chair for surgery in 2 days. This last call she was told, she isn't the kind of customer they want and they told her to find another dme company. They also won't answer calls from her insurance company to get the order expedited. Really getting the run around.Responding: unprofessional, unethical. HIPPAA violations.

Great experience and worth the 2 hour drive into Houston to buy an electric scooter. Daniel was so great and personable and showed us quite a few options. Once he showed us the Travel Buggy and I tried it out, I was sold. I have been putting off buying something like this since I’ve become disabled and Daniel was very knowledgeable and made me feel at ease. This has been an emotional time and now my mobility will be better.

My order was on back order but as soon as they received it I was on the delivery rooster for the very next day. The delivery guy was prompt and friendly. He did just as the store said he would by calling 30 minutes before arrival to make sure someone would be home. This is the only place that took my insurance and was able to help me. I recommend them 100%. Thanks Safeway for my new rollator

I got my much needed rollator from Safeway Medical Supply just recently. Since they didnt have the one I needed in stock, it took a bit longer to get. The staff that I spoke to were so nice and helpful when i called for updates. The only reason im giving 4 stars is due to my wait for the rollator, other than that, i will use them again for any other medical needs.
