We're not consumer robots for cash extraction. Let us talk to a real LOCAL person.I called for an estimate. I wanted to talk to a real person during business hours, but the automated call attendant just redirects you to their website and wants you to use a chat feature or an app on the phone. Probably because they have off shore labor cheaply giving out quotes.Well. Sometimes, there are other factors involved, and we just want a real person who has an investment in the area and the job.After all, what happens if there's a problem with the job?I gave up and called another glass place. The doctor answered the phone and took care of me. In less than two minutes, we had a solution and a deal.Safelite, you lost my home remodeling work and all of my autos with your bot.

Worst experience for a windshield repair I have had. Told them I wanted factory replacement for a new car and they dogged it off and put after market in, which ruined all the sensors on the car. On top of that it is leaking through the top of the windshield as soon as it started to rain. Now im dealing with possible water damages on a brand new vehicle.

Arrived for an early Saturday morning appointment to be told they didn't have the right windshield, and couldnt fix it today. This happened after their booking system allowed me to make an appointment at a service center that could not work on my vehicle.

The life time warranty is a big plus. My wind screen was installed in 2018 and developed a leak in the seal. No problem with replacement.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Progressive insurance must have a sweet deal with this incompetent business …on my first install date at my office, no one showed up. I called and was told my voicemail wasn’t set up, which has been set up for over 30 years. That was a lie. They said the new wind sheik arrive broken. Then they set up another appointment to come to my office and I was told the day of the install that due to the make of the car I had to have it brought into the shop. Once I brought it into the shop I got a call saying that the safety features wouldn’t work, and I’d have to take it to the BMW dealership to have it recalibrated . I asked why nobody bothered to tell me that before I got it to the shop or I would’ve just taken it to the BMW dealership originally ……there was no clear answer, they are complete idiots.

I just had my windshield replaced, no issues. Very good process for scheduling and notifications. People were courteous and helpful.

Beware of contacting and filling out partial paperwork. Safe lite works directly with Progressive. We merely inquired about our rock chip coverage, and never filed a claim or had progressive pay, yet that inquiry still caused safelite/progressive to file a claim on our behalf. This claim (which was never paid) caused a ding on our record and resulted in our loss of our 5 year no-claim discount we were receiving. Increased our insurance $400/yr, for a $60 rock chip we paid for out of pocket and had fixed elsewhere..

Horrible customer service. Still waiting on any sort of update to have my car fixed, I have been told a parts specialist would be calling me, that was 5 days ago.
