New review: pics tell a thousand words. Joe and Royal Collision are still the best.
Old review: We recently suffered some major front end damage to my wife's brand-new Yukon. My insurance company wanted me to take the vehicle to Service King, so I did. Despite the fact that my insurance company had let them know I was coming, when I arrived they refused to talk to me because I did not have a "appointment". When I advised them that my insurance company had already arranged for me to be seen by them, after begging and waiting for an hour, they agreed to do me a "favor" and had a service advisor quickly look at my car. He stated that the vehicle was still drivable (it wasn't) and that I needed to make an appointment to bring it in, at which time, they would decide when they would fix it, most likely three weeks later he said. I wasn't about to have my wife drive a car with a broken windshield, smashed in front end, plastic rubbing on the tires, with smoke and burning rubber smell coming out of it for at least three more weeks. That's when I decided to look for my own place to take it.
There is a reason why Royal Collision has five stars on Google. The experience could not have been more different with Royal Collision. Right away, Sharif had me bring in my car, inspected it, and let my insurance company know that it was not safely drivable. He obtained a rental car for me, and got to work on fixing my car. Despite the Thanksgiving weekend coming up, and the Christmas holiday, they worked on my car diligently. The only reason that it took some time to get the vehicle done was that the major parts they needed for it were on back order. Sharif showed me proof from GMC that the parts were ordered but would not be delivered for a month. Once the parts arrived, they had it fixed within a week even though they were dealing with a holiday schedule. Joe even made sure to take care of a manufacturers recall for me while the vehicle was in his shop.
I am telling you, Royal collision, Joe, and Sharif are all top-notch professionals. My vehicle came back looking better than new and drives just like it did before the accident. If you have a high-end vehicle, and or care about your car, if you should need a collision expert, Royal is the place to go in all of Houston. I was not disappointed.

He was also very patient answering her questions. She highly recommends this location and her service from Joe Hamm.

I had my car serviced by Royal Collision after a MVA. I was referred by a friend which bought me peace of mind as I am not originally from the area and all of the auto body shops on the list from my auto insurance did not have the best reviews. I was pleased to find out their team did work with my insurance and I proceeded with them.
I called , sent in photos and was able to bring my car in the same day. My insurance was able to get everything set up, a staff took me to pick up my rental car. Communication with Royal Collision’s Team was good throughout the process, my questions were answered timely until the end there was a minor miscommunication about completion and pick up.
My only thing is I wish they had an electronic system or an app to track the progress of the work or to get updates on the status of completion. I would absolutely get my car serviced again. My car looks great and runs great, I waited a few weeks to post the review purposely to assure consistency. Thank you Royal Collision’s team! :)

Words cannot convey how much I appreciate the work Royal Collision in general and Mike specifically did to repair the front bumper on my vehicle! Looks showroom new and I highly recommend them for any body work needed! True professionalism from the front door to the repair shop!

I needed a carbon fiber and front bumper repair on my Cadillac CT-4V Blackwing. Unfortunately parts were not available from the manufacturer nor aftermarket. This didn’t stop Joe and his team. They repaired the carbon fiber perfectly, and they manufactured brackets that were not otherwise available. Expectations that carbon fiber repairs can sometimes be about 80-90% as good as new were clearly addressed. Yet the result was 100%! Upon completion, Joe truly went out of his way to get my car back to me in a timely manner. I would absolutely trust Royal Collision with any repair and will recommend them to everyone I can.

I worked with Joe at Royal Collision. They repaired some damage to my car which required repainting. I didn’t know what to expect because the original paint is the sparkly pearl white. When I picked it up I was blown away by the perfect match. As close as I can get my eye to it, I cannot tell the difference between the new paint and the original factory. They also removed dents so well that it’s impossible to tell it is not brand new. Joe was very smart and professional, and the quote was reasonable. I highly recommend Royal Collision

If you're seeking the best body shop in Houston, look no further. They kept me up to date on the progress, gave me excellent advice, and have a thorough knowledge of the insurance system. They have an exceptional knowledge of all makes and models of autos. I could never have asked for a more professional and kind group of people. It looks even better now than when I bought it at the dealership. I could not have asked for a better looking car! We are extremely satisfied.

My experience didn’t match the reviews. Quality of work average at best. Car was previously ceramic coated. While in their care it was wiped down multiple times while dirty. Scratches everywhere. Who does that? Floor mats left on rear seats. Drivers mat completely missing. Carpet not placed properly in trunk and sub left unplugged. Not contacted once by the shop in 2 months. I wasn’t going to leave a review but just spent $150 to replace 1 WeatherTech mat. Choose another shop!
