Hours: Non-profit 501c3 dedicated to combatting childhood obesity with national programs like Seed-To-Plate Nutrition Education in schools and the VegOut! Challenge-an online/mobile game to make healthy eating fun, and in Houston—Hope Farms, a 7-acre urban farm just 10 minutes from downtown where we train military veterans to grow affordable produce and host community events that celebrate the harvest with shared meals. We offer school field trips, worksite wellness programs, cooking and gardening classes for all ages and teacher training to offer our nutrition education and build a campus-wide culture of health.
