I wrote to them via ainstagram to check if they were open. The replayed, yes until 6 pm. I drove from far to find out when I got there the store was closed. That was irresponsable.

They have to have the largest selection of Wagyu beef in Houston. There were several cuts and items, even wagyu jerky! The cheeses, beans, and other items look home made and delicious. Can't wait to try more

I have ordered from them a few times online. On the most recent purchase, there was an issue with the order. I emailed them and they went above and beyond to make it right. Great to see that customer service still matters to some sellers. Thank you! I will be ordering again soon!

So disappointed in this shop now. I have shopped here for a while now and have enjoyed their Waygu steaks. This last time I picked up several Waygu Ribeye and a Waygu brisket for my daughter's birthday dinner coming up. First was the Ribeye, half of them were very thin and barely measured 1/4. Disappointing in itself, but I guess I shouldn't have gotten lazy and check before they rang them up and bagged them. The brisket is what really upsets me, it was 10.8 pounds upon purchase. After doing the trim, I only had 4.5 pounds of brisket left. I have cooked a lot of brisket and this was just sad. Without trimming the sides to make it more round the fat by itself wieghed in at 5 lbs that was $50 for a plate of fat. The brisket itself was thin and had very little beef left after taking away the fat. I guess I will looking for another shop that sells waygu.

I'm so impressed with this place. Upon entering the store it was obvious that they take pride in every aspect of their business. The store is clean and organized. They have a wide variety of meats and products. I was surprised to learn that they make all of their own products. I purchased their beef liver. For almost a decade I've been searching for quality beef liver that isn't full of tough stringy connective tissue. Finally, my search is over! I thoroughly enjoyed my liver and onions dinner. This is the first time I didn't have to throw most of it in the trash. I'll definitely be back for more! Looking forward to trying some of their other meats as well. Also, their customer service was refreshingly outstanding.

Explored this shop as part of my adventure to Houston Farmers Market and so glad I stepped through the doors. Beautifully presented fresh cuts of meat as well as a nice selection kept frozen for easier travel. So excited to try my 1st taste of Wagu beef. Always seen it on Iron Chef, but now we get to eat it ourselves. Next trp back will be for wild boar.

This company failed to ship their product when stated, as well as giving confusion with all the conflicting promises and lack of them for shipping. Maybe they have good food, however I'm disappointed with their communication disconnect to the customer.

This place has been my go to for freshly butchered meats since I moved to Houston. Fantastic quality, knowledgeable staff and a great location in the HFM—not to mention a good member rewards program. I was extremely disappointed today to go in expecting to see the bounty I have become accustomed to and instead finding that nearly ALL the cuts are now vacuum sealed. It is such a turnoff at a butcher not be able to see exactly what you are buying. I understand the need to prevent oxidation and ensure freshness but butchers have been wrapping meat in butcher paper for hundreds of years and nothing has happened. We definitely don’t need more plastic garbage floating around in the world!! I suggest at least to have a limited number of fresh cuts out each morning, with some additional displayed in the back that are vacuum sealed. I know that many chef friends will not be returning if this does not change.

Great shop inside the renovated Houston Farmers Market. The girl inside was eager to give me a quick tour of store which was well stocked with cuts of choice meats including Wagyu and bacon wrapped meat loaf vacuum sealed and ready for oven. Several house made sausages were available with some in Lamb skin. All meats come from the local RC Ranch. Lots of other store items available in Air Conditioned store.The Plaza itself is a great place to visit for fresh produce, herbs, spices, cookware. Get a FROZEN MARGARITA to walk with while browsing and clean air conditioned restrooms are also available and lots of free parking in rear.

What a wonderful experience. The staff was amazing, helped us 100% find everything we needed. First time in the shop and they were beyond helpful and informative. Best steak I've had.
