Each Friday we have a walk from my community building and we walk to Doshi Coffee House. We walk right by Project Row House. I love the art on each house.

It's a collective of artists that showcase history, culture, and Houston living.Typically it only showcases 5 house, the remaining house are used to be renovated or for living of families. It is quite hot outside during the events in July. So bring personal fan, or you can participate in their drive-by version of the exhibit.Being that exhibits rotate each year with different themes. It's hard to pinpoint every idea. But if you do come on opening day you can speak with the artist and their thought process in curating their live sculptures. This is a historical area in Houston for context it might not look the best for some of the hipsters who are used to neighborhood gentrification.

Loved visiting Project Row House. Not just for the outstanding artwork but for there mission as a whole. The preservation of the community through art. I wish I had something in my hood like Project Row House. Where I could look to other black artist like myself and be inspired. Also got a chance to view the artwork in The Trinity Church located across the street. Which is the oldest church in Houston. Can’t forget the dope artist who have residencies there. So much, culture, history, love, and community at Project Row House. I pray people come here from all over the world and be on inspired to implement projects like this using arts in their hoods.

This is an amazing hidden gem in 3rd ward. I enjoyed learning the history of the project and seeing the beautiful art. I'm also amazed how they host seminars to help the community like first time home buying & internships for young artists.

Amazing!! There is a wealth of information available here that people are not aware of. There's a radio station 24/7 addressing mental health issues, free legal help, free preduce, etc. I would like to see more exposure for the Row House Project. It's phenomenal!!

Whole neighborhood is fire!! You can feel it in the people, in the streets and in the establishments. The art is diverse and thought provoking with changes in installations. The cupcake spot is well worth the visit. The black-owned book store and comic book store are welcoming and have great service. Well worth a visit if you’re a tourist in town…even worth detouring.
