We love Primrose! Our daughter has so much fun at daycare and has really grown in the past several months. We love that she's getting the chance to interact with other infants and learn from the very sweet instructors — all in a safe and loving environment. The staff is incredibly kind and always happy to help. Plus, the team that runs the administrative side is very communicative and keeps us in the loop with events, holiday schedules, weekly food menus, and plenty more.Overall, we can't say enough good things about our experience here. We have and continue to recommend Primrose to anyone in need of a daycare in the area!

Our daughter attends this school and she is thriving. Her teachers are wonderful, supportive, and really helped her transition into daycare after a cross-country move. I will always be grateful to the primrose staff for their professional demeanor and kind and loving welcome to our family. We picked Primrose Upper Kirby because of company's reputation for being a higher-end daycare option but there are a few details I think this particular franchise can work on. First, we can't pay our fees via app or online - they have to be paid in person (credit card or by check) - this is fairly inconvenient because I don't always remember to pay while at the school and I have gotten a late fee as a result. Second, food items include canned fruit, obviously pre-frozen food, and Ritz/Graham crackers, which I wish were not offered. I would gladly pay more money to ensure my child is being fed fresh fruit and more nutritious snack options. Given the Primrose reputation, my sense is that this particular franchise cuts corners to save money, which trickles down to the families.Overall, I recommend Primrose UK but do hope the daycare improves some of the above issues.

The leadership team of Ms Alondra, Ms Gabby and Ms Diamond are outstanding. They know the names of all the children and are incredible hands-on, attentive and communicative.I was one of the moms that really struggled leaving my baby at daycare (still hate leaving her!) but my babies teachers, Ms Leslie, Ms Michelle and Ms Samone are so loving and involved in her growth and development it makes it a bit easier. We are very grateful for Primrose!

Our 3-year-old son has been attending preschool at this Primrose location only for a couple of weeks, but we have seen a dramatic difference in his socio-emotional reasoning skills in such a short amount of time. He has significantly improved in his deductive reasoning abilities around how he is feeling and can communicate that with us in confidence.Communication between the staff and parents is great. The teachers and staff are very hard-working and attentive - they are very respectful and will find or have answers to your questions.Very pleased!

I worked at this “school” for nearly 3-4 months as a preschool teacher and the kids are wonderful as are the teachers. I truly battled with myself on whether or not I wanted to leave my babies but the problem stems from “leadership” if you want to call them that. The teachers are usually stressed and overwhelmed because they don’t have the materials needed for their curriculum everyone is always running around trying to act as if the school is being run as it should be, especially when the owner or any kind of upper management shows up. There is so much unfairness going on at this school I would need at least three more pages to fully explain. Staff (leadership) children are put above the other kids being given opportunities and experiences that the others aren’t. Such as participating in activities for a class outside of their own that the other kids aren’t able to join in etc. The teachers are basically picked on daily I guess when you don’t have a voice anywhere else the one place you do have one you take advantage of it and those under you. Teachers are constantly being put in environments that they aren’t comfortable in. Teachers are being left out of ratio, put in age groups they’re uncomfortable with, and left to the wolves when it comes to needing any type of help especially one with a student. I think a lot of people take the “school” in the name for verbatim in actuality it’s a daycare. A very poorly run one at that. Im sure it’s just the upper Kirby location as I’ve heard there’s no other Primrose that’s run this way. I know this review won’t do much but I’m here to inform those who stumble upon it that there are much better places, schools, and Primrose locations than this one. As a teacher take my advice and put your child somewhere where all the kids are treated fairly, where every child gets the same experiences and opportunities. And as someone who’s worked here yes money is money but no money is worth sacrificing your peace of mind. I truly enjoyed meeting every child I met here as they made the days worth it but in the end maltreatment is just something that isn’t ok. If you ever need hard proof of anything that I’ve written today simply apply and you’ll see first hand. A single location out of many that’s always short staffed simply has to be the problem right?

We’ve been at Primrose of Upper Kirby for years and have had wonderful experiences. Management is very communicative and responsive to questions/concerns. The teachers have been wonderful and have loved, nurtured and really helped our children grow and learn. Our kids truly love everyone, especially the school Chef and all his delicious treats!

As parents of Aylan, we find ourselves overcome with gratitude as we reflect on our 3 years old kid's journey through 16 months of Primrose School of Upper Kirby. We are incredibly thankful for the invaluable growth and development that our little one has experienced during this time. Primrose has been a remarkable stepping stone in shaping our child into the bright and curious individual that he is today. From the moment our little bundle of joy stepped into this daycare doors, we knew we had made the right decision. The welcoming and nurturing environment provided by the teachers and staff created a space where our child could flourish and explore the world around him. The caring and experienced educators were instrumental in laying a strong foundation for his emotional, social, and cognitive development. We witnessed an extraordinary transformation in our child's confidence and independence. Primrose offered him opportunities to engage with peers and explore his budding interests in different activities. The safe and encouraging atmosphere empowered him to express himself freely, helping him overcome shyness and embrace his unique personality.Academically, Primrose curriculum proved to be both stimulating and age-appropriate. From learning letters and numbers to exploring colors and shapes, our little one's curiosity was continuously nurtured. The exposure to early literacy activities ignited a love for books and learning, which has become an integral part of his daily routine. One aspect that particularly stood out was the emphasis on instilling essential values and manners. Through various activities and play-based learning, our child learned the importance of kindness, sharing, and empathy. It was heartwarming to see him develop genuine friendships with his classmates, teaching us the value of fostering strong social bonds from an early age.In conclusion, as parents, we cannot express enough how grateful we are to have chosen this preschool for our little wonder. The transformative 16 months have shaped him into a confident, compassionate, and inquisitive young soul. Our child is enjoying his summer holiday, he misses already his friends and hopefully he will join them back soon!

This daycare by far felt like an extension of our family. We took our daughter here at 6 months and they were so kind and always gave us such great daily updates on her. The front desk staff and admin were so positive and kind when you entered/left. I felt confident and comfortable leaving my child in their hands. We were sad to leave (we got placement closer to our home), but will always have a soft spot for this school in our hearts! Also, the app they use for updates/communication/check in or out was great and not at all glitchy. Appreciate this school so much!

Our daughter started here at 3 months old and we absolutely love it. She is so happy here and her teachers are incredible. The convenience of Chef providing lunch and snacks every day is awesome - he even makes purées for the infants who are starting solids. Clean facility and inviting atmosphere. 0 complaints! Highly recommend!

We loved our Primrose experience. Our son started when we was 3 months old and went until he was 5 years old and about to start Kinder at a new school. From the first days to the last, we felt our son was loved and provided for, and as a mother isn't that the best you could ask for? I cried more than he did when we had to say goodbye! Our son, compared to his contemporaries that didn't start early, showed remarkable accelerated learning, and when we were ready to move to a new school, Primrose has set a foundation for him that had him ready to continue his learning path without having to play catchup. But we love Primrose so much we're going back for their summer program!

My child has been enrolled at Primrose for about a year now and we both have been really happy with that they have to offer. He is in preschool and he absolutely loves his teachers, Ms. Hunt, Ms. Jasmine, and Ms. Gaby. They’re really warm and inviting and my son comes home everyday to share what he’s learned. Also special shout-out to Ms. Emma who was his teacher in the past whom he loved so much and was so great with him! I think they provide a really structured and positive learning environment for the little ones to thrive in. The front office staff are amazing as well. Ms. Gabby, Ms. Diamond, Ms. Alondra, and Ms. Liz have all been so kind, professional, and helpful at all times. I personally don’t have a single complaint with the services my child and I have received here. Highly recommend!

My son went to this horrible place few years ago for an approximate 9x months and he still has nightmare even when he looks at the building. The administrative staff and his teachers were not qualified to be there. My son was discriminated and constantly miss treated. Almost everyday, we used to get calls from school. He was so unhappy there. Once, I went to school unplanned and walked into his class to check up on him. I saw my son standing by himself at the corner crying inside his class while rest of his classmates were engaged in class activities. I took a picture before I asked for an explanation why my son was isolated and how long it has been going on. They did not have any valid explanation.Right after that, we never felt safe and comfortable sending our son to this horrible place!! This school is lucky that I did not sue them!! Keep your kids away from Primrose School of Upper Kirby!
