We are so grateful for the community and fellowship we have found in Primrose! This school not only is a place for our child to learn and grow, but also always hosts such fun events for our kids. The teachers and staff are always so warm and welcoming and facility is kept incredibly clean. We love this school!

Very nice at first but they aren’t the nicest when it come to employee issues ! They blame for things that weren’t true. And didn’t get to explain my self at all . They aren’t really that fair . ?

The best school we have had our son in so far! Primrose Clearlake treated us and all of their families as one big family. Our son has thrived so well and we are sad to be leaving this amazing community. Everyone is easily reachable and turn around time for questions and responses are very fast. The teachers my son had are absolutely outstanding, and we are so proud of how far he has come! I highly recommend this school!

This is the best-structured daycare I've ever been to. The employees are kind and gentle, and the time and effort they put into the children and lesson plans are beautiful. Every morning dropping my children off feels so light and welcoming. My children have found a home here and I couldn't be more thankful to find this place.

My family and I volunteered this past Sunday in celebration of Primrose's 10 year anniversary. There was free kids dj stations, train rides, hot dogs chips, water and the owner Mary Nguyen, even had a dipping dots cater the event. There were kangaroos, and other animals/activities. The parents had fun and the kids even more so.

We chose Primrose because our neighbor had a son enrolled and spoke so highly of the school. The teachers and staff are amazing. Their attention to detail, encouraging attitude, and their everyday dedication to the education and care of their students is what keeps us at Primrose. Shout out to all the teachers that have helped make the school experience an excellent one for my kids. They come home telling me what they have learned and with smiles on their faces.

My kids have been attending this location for almost 6 years. I’ve seen the staff, who stays and who leaves. I don’t personally feel there is a huge staff turnaround, at least not for the staff that matters like management. There was a brief time where we switched schools so I can tell you my experience hasn’t been just one place. My kids have had their ups and downs in this school and I have ALWAYS felt the staff had their best interest in health, safety, comfortability, etc. Ever since my first tour of the facility the owner & staff have not o my known my children’s names but my name. They greet me and my children daily by name. My kids teachers always notice when something is off with them, ask about things at home & communicate about their day. This school goes out of their way to make a special experience for their families by having “cookie fridays,” Santa & Easter Bunny visits, holiday celebrations for the whole family, etc. The one thing you won’t find at other daycares that you will find here is a community & family. Because of the community and events they host my husband and I have been able to meet other parents and families and create relationships outside of the school as well. It’s evident that the management and teachers love their kids. I have experienced a few issues with the school and every time I address it I do feel they are doing their best to explain & resolve what they know as well as protect the school. You can’t really blame a business for protecting themselves. That has never made me feel like they cared less about my child than they did the school. Overall, we love this school & the staff (Mary, Ms. Cochran, Ms. Lucas, Ms. Martinez, Ms. Jacobson, Ms. Mac, Ms. Steinboch have all been special to my children) & the care they put in is what keeps us there. My children genuinely look forward to seeing teachers they’ve known for years and hearing stories about when they were little. My husband and I would absolutely recommend this school to any family. I cannot say anything but good things about them.

Please Beware!! My child attended this facility and was doing great for awhile until there was a “new friend” in the classroom. This child was troubled - words of the staff. They allowed this child to hit and bite multiple children in the classroom. When asked for this child to be removed, they refused and stated they were reluctant to remove the child because it would traumatize them— whoa! No concern for the others being harmed. Staff and director aware of this issue with no resolve until the child continued with this behavior for weeks! They had no choice but to dismiss the kid after legal action was threatened. What a disheartening experience.

I am writing this review to share my experience. Take the information as you wish, but everyone has a story to tell and this is my side of it. My son went to Primrose of Clear Lake starting at 5 months to 1 1/2 years old. Starting in the infant room we had no issues. The teachers were always sweet and if things needed to be changed like more bottom paste was needed or to watch out for this due to being sick, it was no issue. As he moved into the second infant room, my husband and I noticed more rashes. He would get a bottom rash here and there, but they were bad. He came home a few times with BM still on his bottom or in his boy parts causing more issues for us. As he reached the toddler's room, it was as if he was never wiped or changed at all. He had a rash at one point that whelped his bottom. He was always dirty and his face never wiped unless I requested. We also noticed that none of the kids in the toddler room would have their faces wiped as you would walk in and see snot running down from most of the children's noses. The amount of money spent to have this place take care of son, I should not have to ask all the time for his face to wipe or to please check and change his diapers so we do not have rashes. As the care for my son turned the front office staff is the worst part of this. The owner has no business running a daycare. She promotes that the food is healthy and made there but come to find out its all premade and all they had for breakfast would be sugary cereal. I ALWAYS brought my son his breakfast due to this. Mary would never speak to me, never make eye contact, and never would call or respond back to issues when she was requested to be spoken to. Ms. Cochran is the main person that I always spoke to, and the mood shifted when I spoke to her about prices. The tuition was raised with NO email, NO phone call, NO communication. As the front staff proceeded to tell me (Ms. Steinbock) it was emailed, I went back and reviewed my emails. The last week in February the invoice of the price I was paying was edited to the raised price. I called about it and spoke to Ms. Cochran in person that this was not right. When I signed my son up, the prices were shared, and I was told that those would be the prices for him if he attended. She stated that he was not part of the "grandfathered" children and that prices were raised to pay the teachers. So, the price for my son went up another $15 a week. I asked her if we could discuss and check in on why he was not "grandfathered" in. She stated that she would speak to Mary and get back. NEVER HEARD FROM NEITHER! After that I was pretty much ignored by all staff in the office. I understand that the world is crap right now and that prices are through the roof, but with no communication, we parents have to suffer.Lastly, almost all the teachers that my son had left there. So that should show something as well. As I appreciate the kindness to my son, I the parent had to deal with the childness of the staff.Moving forward, maybe people should be viewed as people and not dollar signs.

Our son has been at Primrose for almost three years now, and it has been a wonderful experience. He is always happy to go to school in the morning. He has learned far more than he would have learned at a traditional daycare, and the staff treats all of us like family. I can go to work and have the peace all day of knowing he is being treated well, making relationships with other children his age, and learning, playing, being read to, and eating well.Edit: He continued through preschool and used Primrose for before and after school care. Mary is great. If you have any issues, the leadership staff will help you out.

Primrose of Clear Lake will always hold a special place in my heart. My daughter attended there from 3 months until she graduated Kindergrten. We did not plan to attend Kinder but due to Covid it was a blessing to have Primrose remain open during the pandemic. It gave her the opportunity to continue in person interaction with her teacher and classmates during covid. I do not know how they can get her to eat carrots and peas for lunch because I can't get her to do the same at home. She tells me it is not the same. I will always appreciate the guidance that Primrose shared and offered reassurance when I doubted myself on how to better direct certain behavior. I'm glad to say we got over those bumps! Sometimes, I still do miss sending my daughter to Primrose.

We think very highly of Primrose Clearlake and would recommend the school for other families. We lived in Clear Lake for a year and our daughter attended Prek 3. The school was clean and organized with a staff that was caring and provided a great curriculum with many activities to stoke a child learning abilities and imagination. Primrose Clear Lake get an A+ and we miss them dearly.

We have had our child here for 2 years, and had a great experience. Our child is excited to go to school every day and comes home excited about what they did that day, and has formed positive relationships with all the teachers.

We couldn't have been happier with the staff and families at Primrose Clear Lake! We had 2 girls enrolled and they really blossomed while at Primrose. The staff was very caring and engaged. Our kindergartener learned to read independently while there and our shy little one has come out of her shell. We love Primrose!
