I’m usually not one to write reviews, but I’d hate to know someone else endured the same experience I had. About a week ago I filled out an application and shortly followed an interview with Guinette! I was excited until I was greeted by her attitude throughout the interview. She was more concerned with my make up, my appearance, and being attractive, and claiming that I was not equipped to work here. These comments included. “You can’t come in with all this you’re too pretty to work here” while motioning towards my face, and “ you guys are usually lazy” she then stated “but we will see, what is your availability?” Seeing as I’m a teacher I told her after spring break and she responded with “OH HELL NO”. Towards the end I shook her hand to thank her for her time, but she found a way to criticize that. She replied with, “that’s not how you shake someone’s hand” then grabbed my hand back with a firm grip. Due to this and time constraints, I didn’t even bother to follow up with her . I would definitely think twice in the future if you were contemplating employment or any services here. If this is how the owner/manager acts I can just imagine the lack of professionalism throughout the staff overall.

My pups love going here! Super expensive but taking care of dogs are expensive so worth it. Staff is always nice. I always recommend to everyone.

To those complaining about the owner, let me just say this. Some people have better skills with animals, and maybe a little impatient with people. I would rather it be this way than have an owner be sweet to my face then turn around and mistreat my animal. I have used Prestonwood for many years, and my son worked for them for a few years too. I can promise your animal is very well treated and cared for by all staff at Prestonwood, especially the owner. My son said she runs a tight ship because those animals are her top priority, and there was never anything to worry about. She also keeps that facility in top notch shape. Nobody is perfect, but the owners genuine care and concern for your animal is 100% perfect.

This place does such a great job with grooming and boarding. I have a little bit of a difficult dog, and they are just fantastic with him.

First I must say that the staff was awesome. They were friendly and obviously dog people. We felt safe leaving our dogs there. But with that said, I must unfortunately say we will never take them back. When we picked them up, the owner was there and it seems they were short staffed. The owner was the most foul mouthed woman we have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. She cursed the entire time she spoke(argued) with us. Cursed at the young lady that worked for her. Tried to not give us the military discount we were promised. When we tried to figure out how we could resolve the situation, she swore and treated us like we were stupid (literally speaking slowly and loudly in a mocking tone). In the end, we were able to get someone on the phone to help us so that we could just pay them and leave. They may love dogs there, but if the owner treats everyone that way, then I don’t want anything to do with that place. Unfortunate…… Oh, and we should thank the young lady that tried so hard to help us even while being treated horribly by her boss. Good luck.

We have been leaving our fur baby for the last 3 years and he always comes back happy! Especially after the nature walks! We always have them bathe and groom him and they take very good care of him. We definitely recommend! 5 stars!

My family has had nothing but great experiences with Prestonwood Kennels! The environment is clean, the pets are well maintained/kept and interactions with the pets occur several times a day (playtime is fun to watch!). The front desk and employees go out of their way to ensure any questions are answered, and the owner is so informative and always goes out of her way to ensure we are taken care of. We had several questions the first boarding, and she and her staff took the time to explain what the daily routine would be, walked us through the kennel, and showed us all the happy pets! For the record we have 4 dogs all of different breeds (large to small), and I've NEVER experienced any discrimination by breed (the owner/employees loved all of them!), and while the owner is to the point and I've never received anything but good advice via her or her team. We recommend this facility for boarding very much!

Absolutely atrocious experience!!!!!!! I’d give 0 Stars if I could!! There was a slight discrepancy in my bill instead of seeing what she (the owner) could do to make the customer happy she decided to call me a little boy, tell me that I’m playing kiddy games and cursed at me ? what a class act!!! And their prices are about 25%+ higher than her competitors, you should do yourself a favor if you read this review and go somewhere else. I feel very sorry for her employees who are all very nice and I would give them five stars for their service, but the owner and the way she runs this facility is absolutely ridiculous. I’m a business owner as well and never ever would I talk to a customer the way she did to me and all while other customers were in the waiting area listening! WOW

The staff does a great job but the owner has no customer service skills, makes people feel uncomfortable and comes across as very impolite. I used take both of my pets there all the time and made me feel as if I wasn’t taken care of my fur babies properly as she will complaint about brushing my dogs for a longer time than usual even tho I was paying extra for those services. If you read this, with all your respect if my dogs were clean all the time I wouldn’t need your services.

I found two large Sherman Shepherds. A friend, deputy and fellow animal lover told me to go to the nearest vet and have them scanned for microchip. I did. Once I arrived, the first thing I noticed was two people talking, looked up at me and continued to talk to each other. A younger guy came up and asked did I need help. I gave him the story, he said he could come to the car and scanned them. Ok fine. He did and yes each one had a microchip. He said Ok I got both their chips, and just stood there. Ok what do I do now, he said you can write down their chip #. Ok what do I do with it. He said I think you have to call the manufacturer. I'm like what? I call my friend Deputy and she said they were suppose to call themselves and they would take it from there. She ask me for the chip number and called someone else, who worked at another vet and seconds I recv calls from the owner, the manufacturer, the other vet and my friend. Prestonwood didn't do #$%@#!. I believe this is my second compliant about them. I guess I didn't look like them so the help the dogs needed was limited. I don't look like my friend either nor the owner but afterwards we all celebrated the reunion of the dogs back to their owners

I have used Prestonwood groomers for years but their prices have gone up so high. To shave my 12lb dog is $65 plus tax. No fancy cut just shaved off. Being on a fixed income I have started shaving her myself. It takes me 30 min n saves me money. But will continue using them for boarding when needed. Everything is to expensive anymore?
