“This little post office in our neighborhood is just the best! Always a friendly greeting when we open the door, and always a, “How can I help you?” The post people who work in this post office are so nice and they understand exactly what we need as soon as they are made aware why we’re there. From stamps to sending packages, or shopping the greeting card and magnet section, they are ready to help. Recently I had to go to another P.O. a few miles away. No one spoke at all as people came in and lined up for service. Some of us were treated with total indifference, and some with curt answers. Why is that? What makes the difference? Why do the guys at our little P.O. treat their customers with civility instead of rudeness?

“The iconic store in Chinatown, the only Chinese USPS I know, is also the first time I have seen a bookstore and post office combined. It is very convenient to send letters. Please note that the opening hours are 12:00-6:00.”

Even with a line--still a great experience. I am equidistant to this location and the one on Timmons and always choose this one over Timmons because of the amazing employees. The other location does not compare. Each one of these employees is a true asset to the USPS. Wish every branch was like this one!”

“I wanted to do a shout out to Tony and Jorge for their excellent craftsmanship used in fixing my model 11 iPhone. I'm very hard on cell phones. This time I had inadvertently placed the phone on the top of my car to and then forgot about it. Well... You guessed it. The old cover was inadequate, so it cracked the screen, and practically demolished all of the gizmos in the back. I thought I had to spend a big bucks to buy a brand new phone. Tony and Jorge came to the rescue. Not only did they fix it but they did it same day and for your very reasonable price. As if that were not enough, they also made me a great deal on a new reinforced Case. The Apple Store certainly does a good job if you're willing to wait, sometimes for a very long time. Postal N More located at 1431 Wirt Rd. idoes same-day service. I'll never shop anywhere else. Thanks for a remarkable retail experience at this establishment. John Yochum”

“Wrong location on google maps. The correct location is at the intersection of Stockton Drive and University Blvd - behind the campus police station. Staff was nice. I went to the wrong location as listed on google maps and then called them and they gave me the correct intersection - it was a 1/2 mile walk from there!”
“I was sending off a package and randomly had a coughing spell. If you’ve tried to hold a cough in before, you know it’s a horrendous sight. The woman who was weighing my package (a beautiful black woman with glasses who seemed like she was the one in charge) saw me suffering and offered me her personal water bottle! This happened in the beginning of the year but she was so selfless and kind in that moment, I thought it deserved some recognition. I hope she’s doing well ( and that she got a raise)”

“I do wish this location had a drop box at the front. I am usually dropping off packages and I can quickly do that by walking in and setting on the counter. The cashiers are friendly when I ask questions and the people at the package pickup door are always nice and have a good sense of humor.”

“I placed my mail in the blue postal box outside and then it was shut down. To my understanding this was not the fault of the local office but of the usps delivery services. I did not end up getting my mail back and will be filing a claim. However this was something that I addressed 1 month ago and despite how busy this office is, they still kept in touch and kept their word to let me know the status of the mail and I really appreciate that.”

“You will go through security and you will pass the cafeteria to get to the post office.The attendant helped me a lot to have my items fit into an envelope vs. a box which saved me some money. It was quick and easy.”
“I rather this spot over post offices! I simply needed to mail a letter and decided to come here. I bought a envelope and stamp which cost .65 but I only had my card. The older gentleman told me “next time” but I wanted to pay so I went to the Dollar General to get cash back. I paid them $1 and told them to keep the change. It may not seem like a big deal or a lot of money but it’s the principle. The older gentleman has earned my respect for sure. Please give him a chance and BE NICE!”
“So I’m writing this post as I’m waiting in line here, after I read a few of the Reviews and the Postal Worker is only on the 2nd person since I got here.
2 people in line already left and 1 gentleman started saying in a loud voice - We Need Help Out Here -
Referencing to get another Worker to assist customers.
I’m sure this Lady Postal Worker is doing the best she can, however, I’m pretty sure I’ve been here about 20 min and she’s only on the 3rd customer since I walked in.
Being that it’s 1:30pm on a Tuesday, there really should be at least 3 working to assist customers.
So now 25 min and the Postal Manager is now helping, well, she’s helping the people that were in the certified package pickup line……
Okay well, I’ll be here way longer than I can keep writing this review, so be sure and plan on a long wait at this location.
I gave 5 Stars because I know my package will arrive at the destination once I get it mailed….and that is why I am here.
2 people in front of me now…still only 1 Postal Worker, I’m almost to the counter, 1 in front of me.

“To be honest, I was kinda wondering if I should go to this USPS location after I saw some negatives service reviews on Google. Thinking of just shipping a box of medicines and nail supply to my brother’s place won’t take that much time and service doesn’t have to be nice, I went to this USPS on 07/31/24 around 10am.
What really impressed me at first that the place wasn’t crowded comparing to the same time, same purpose of dropping and shipping the box at the USPS location nearby. Service was fast, everyone was enthusiastic helping, getting stuff done for the customers.
I was finding the priority tag to write down my bro’s address and stuck it on my prepared box, Mitchell told me the flat rate priority box will save me more shipping money, which surprised me since I’ve been packing my own box for many many times and no one ever told me that the USPS box is more savings.
What even amazed me and my brain more is that Mitchell actually helped me unpack my own prepared box and put it in the new USPS box. I was stunned. (sorry Mitchell, if one point you see me standing and staring without saying anything xD). I’ve never experienced this much nice and enthusiastic environment, especially USPS where everyone was just rushing and tiring looking at you and your package.
Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. You’ve made my day, Mitchell and the Alief USPS team this Wednesday morning. I am truly appreciated. Definitely will go to this location from now on.”
