I went to the pet office on north shepherd drive in the heights. Everyone was sweet,kind& very helpful. Everyone did an awesome some job.

After checking my dogs in for their grooming appointment, I was handed back their collars. As I was to place them on my vehicles floorboard, Little W’s fi collar fell off. A piece was broken off. Went back in to the grooming shop, found the piece on the floor. Then asked the person who gave me back the collars, “Are ya always this rough?”. Nothing was said and I left. As I returned to retrieve my pets, I went to pay at the counter. The clerk asked if everything was good, said “No. I don’t appreciate my fi tracking device broken.”. He presumed it was a collar, so told me that I can pick out a new one. I then told him that I have to probably get a new tracking device for my dog. He then said that maybe they could have given me a discount. I told him, “A discount should have been provided prior to my checkout.”. Anyhow, I will not be returning to Petco for my grooming appointments. I had to spend over $250 to get a new tracking device.

Sade is what makes this the best location. So attentive and very helpful because she have so much experience with pets and loves to see them smiling. She handles our big dog with care and she can give your pet the same treatment too.

This is my favorite Petco simply because of the service. The lady was so helpful when I asked about dogs with stress related anxiety. She recommended the best product to me and they truly worked. I will definitely be returning to this Petco.

Always get great service from the staff here but I wanted to share my recent experience. I have a large dog. She eats Acana red meat brand (no grain) Two weeks ago I picked up Acana red meat (with grain) by mistake. My Great Pyrenees wouldn’t touch it. Even though it wasn’t in the original packaging Petco return policy let me switch it out hassle free. Godfry at the register was great! This is why I’ve been shopping PETCO for years.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Grooming my Goldendoodle was a disaster. Instead of taking the time to brush out her hair they said she had a couple of spots of matted fur and decided that shaving her was the appropriate course of action. They initially told me that they were going to have to cut it a little shorter because of the matted fur but I came back and they completely shaved her including her tail. Never coming back again.

Charge for bags? At the counter with about 5-6 smaller things. Rings me up and says have a great day. I asked if he had a bag for my stuff and said “we charge for bags. “.
In response to owner: And yet every single thing I purchase was packaged in plastic! Sounds nickel and dime to me.

Petco pet store is my favorite your employees are very nice this last time I went was here in Houston and it turned out to be a good day for me and my dog Bailey he got a free bag of food and some treats thank you all for your support and I will always be going Petco and by Bailey his food

I had to leave a review because of how well my experience has been here. Everyone , Johnathan especially, is so nice and helpful. I can be a handful with all the questions I have and my indecisiveness, but Johnathan was kind to me the entire time. He answered every question I had and did not rush me at all. All the staff had been so great here, I don’t even want to go to any other Petco because of it.
