All of the business he gets and the people he has helped his rating of 2.8 is unacceptable. We need to do better to support this man and his black owned business. I've been going to him 3 years and I am so happy with him and his staffs knowledge and ability to assist with my taxes. I will definitely be recommending this tax location to all that I can. Thank you Mr. Patten and staff.

A friend referred me to this tax company, and overall the experience I received was inadequate, incompetent, and unprofessional. The way that the service was handled was lacking in communication and the necessary attention to fit the clients needs. Although I understand there are other things on their hands, it doesn't excuse the fact that my case is being held hostage by the IRS, which is withholding my check due to credits that have been put in incorrectly, and now they need more evidence or documentation, and if I do not respond within 30 days, I will get penalized 5000 dollars and possibly thrown in jail for tax fraud... I am appalled that this is likely to happen to me, knowing I didn't provide any documentation, and that their tax rep never asked me anything, and when I would email or try to contact (so called person) I never get a single form of communication back... Last week I tried contacting the owner and still have yet to hear a word back about my case... so im leaving this review to signal the poor handling in service that this tax company failed to accomplish. I will not be coming back and do not recommend anyone else coming here to do taxes. Leave it to someone else more professional and with better service to handle it, or prepare for tax fraud penalties and not only that, they charge you 6k for their services, which is a ridiculous amount considering the services, not worth paying them... If I could, I would give this place zero stars! Very disappointed in the services, I received. I had been a 3 year customer and in the past was satisfied with the services until this year. My tax return was done incorrectly , he put the wrong address & false information and things from my previous tax return on to this year return. Call multiple times and would never get an answer. And when someone would answer it was, I’ll call you back but never would. Got a letter from the IRS saying I needed to do a 1040 amendment because everything was incorrect!! Had to go to HR & Block to get it corrected! Still have not received my refund after 8 months!!!! Never again, very frustrating experience.

Is EPatten open anymore. I made an appointment for 1pm online i was 15 minutes late but I got to the office and it’s closed. I tried calling before i got there but the phones were not working. According to google they are open till 6pm.

Stay away!!! Their office has been raided. There is a company going around knocking on their customers doors to get them to testify against them for whatever they have done. I cant say exactly what because its a legal matter. But my taxes have been placed under review by the irs because of them. They screwed my taxes over last year in which i got audited for 10k. He said he would look at them but he hasnt. So whatever they are doing is probably illegal and will get you audited and and in trouble owing alot of money. Shouldnt be playing with ppl hard earned money just to make a quick buck. It dont work like that. Now they have changed numbers arent answering the phone and now they are being raided. So there is always a consequence to everything you do

My Mother has been trying to get in touch with these people for weeks even months and no one will respond to her emails or phone calls. Now the numbers don’t work, but if your business is truly legitimate you wouldn’t have to change numbers and avoid your clients. Who in their right mind will allow someone to prepare their taxes for over $14,000; not even the richest person in the world. SEND THE AMENDMENT IN ON MY MOTHER’S TAXES.

Visited this place last year, and it was the worst experience ever. Left the place with no kind of paper work, the excuse was that it was COVID. I never received my taxes, tried contacting them endlessly by phone, email, leaving voicemails and they NEVER got back to me. When I was finally able to get in contact with the secretary she never responded. After a few months of trying, I was charged a large sum for the service they provided even though they never really provided any kind of service. I had to call my bank to dispute the charge since it was still impossible to get in contact with anyone at the office. Finally this year I was able to get in contact with the owner, and I shared how urgent it was for me to receive the paper work from last year, because it was affecting my current taxes. After contacting him several times, he still never sent my paper work even though he understood the severity of my situation. I had to drive almost an hour just to collect paper work that should have been given to me to begin with.If you want things done professionally and in a timely manner. I recommend you don’t go and do your taxes here. Worst experience ever.

Had this tax office file my taxes for the past 3 years. Phenomenal refunds, amazing customer service by the receptionist ( I don't know how to spell her name). Most of the negative comments probably don't reach out from time to time. Sure they are a little hard to get ahold of via phone however persistency and patience go a long way. They have many clients and are generally busy majority of the time. I got my documents back via email once I just called and asked. My second year filling with Mr. Patten and his office and I have NO complaints at all! Yes you have to wait yes the phones can get busy but you can email them or just stop by and the front desk girl is always happy to help! They’re busy for a reason, bc they’re the best! I referred all of my family to them and we will continue to return next year!

I filed taxes with Ms Davidson . It took a while to get started because of the long line of people in front of me but once I saw how much I was getting back , it was definitely worth the wait. I was referred by a co worker but I will be returning next year
